Of course, my first visit to Italy, and I wanted to leave with some kind of a treasure...like a beautiful leather jacket. With all of the vendors in Florence, it's a bit overwhelming. I found this place through a recommendation at a shoe store down the street. Nino met me at the shoe store and walked me down to Noi.... More

I walked all over Florence on a mission to find elegant handmade shoes and a handbag. I wound up at Noi after buying two beautiful pairs of shoes at its sister store Gocia. The owner Nino accopanied me from Gocia to Noi and worked so patiently to find the right bag. When I couldn't find a bag at first and... More

Nino greeted us as we entered and from there made us feel at home. This was one of the very best experiences we had in Florence! The quality of the products here is only surpassed by the service. And, Always ask someone local where to eat, you will not be disappointed!!! Thank you for your help!

My wife very much wanted a leather jacket from Florence, as the area's reputation for fine leathers is worldwide. We were not disappointed with our hotel's recommendation of Noi Leather. We worked with the owner who was friendly and helpful. At no time did we feel any sales pressure as my wife tried various pieces. He would give his opinion... More

This is the place to go for fine leather goods in Firenze. Don't bother going anywhere else until you've looked here. It's not cheap, it's beautiful, fine Italian leather and craftsmanship. We are proudly sporting our new jackets and one can only hope fall will last long enough so we can wear them as often as we wish.

Owner just assumed that we did not have money to buy in the "designer" section and ushered us to the front of the store. Very rude.

I visited Noi in 2010 and bought a gorgeous leather jacket, which i continue to wear today in 2014. Amazing quality of leather and great prices!!! Unfortunately, when i visited Firenze just recently, i could not recall the name of the store, till i went onto trip advisor. I am sad that i missed out Noi, but truly if you... More

I went there looking for a leather jacket & found the staff rather rude. I went elsewhere in Florence & bought 2 jackets from a retailer who was much more helpful. Good service always pays.

I had saved my pennies and wanted to buy a good leather jacket in Florence if I found the right one. I am a minimalist at heart so I make my big purchases wisely. Some NYC friends had gone here and suggested it. Luciano and Francesco were so funny, helpful and such skilled craftsmen. Luciano found the perfect jacket for... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
