WHAT AN EXCELLENT WAY to START MY DAY ... with a modified Ashtanga class in the morning!! MOST beautiful studio ... MOST wonderful teacher ... and super accommodating to English speaking students (me) ... but ALSO MOST FUN ... to have the class mostly taught in Italian ... very easy to follow .... and makes for an extremely peaceful practice!!

We joined a class for a one off session during our recent stay in Florence. Very helpful, experienced instructor who managed to teach the class in both Italian and English (we were the only English there that day). Got the day off to a good start.

What a treat! Ashtanga yoga in a 600 year old building. We went two nights in a row. Between the flight and the long days walking we were sore and tired. Yoga was fantastic flow, friendly instructor and classmates in a beautiful room that reminded you were in Florence the whole time. Strongly recommend. A little hard to find the... More

Taking the initiative to make a "surf&yoga" holiday in Fuerteventura in winter time may be quite a hazard if you: don't know the place; don't know the people; and you are a novice both to yoga and to surf. So it may understandably take you a while to make up your mind and get out of your comfort zone. But... More

This is a review about a yoga retreat which was organized by two yogis from Its Yoga Florence, the loveliest Mara and Nadja. The 4 day retreat at Le Pianore organized by Mara and Nadja is something I have been recommending to everyone I know since the day I've been back. I just can't help it because of how lovely... More

I practiced here for a month while in Florence. The studio space is beautiful and the teachers are skilled and encouraging. Welcoming atmosphere and great yoga for all levels. Grazie mille!

I discovered Yoga Firenze on line. It was the best Yoga experience I have ever had. Set in a beautiful upstairs room, the Piano Nobile, in a Palazzo, lit candles on the window sills, there is a warm, open, friendly and inclusive atmosphere. A range of levels of Astanga Yoga are catered for so pick a class to suit you.... More

I'm a yoga teacher and daily practitioner of Ashtanga, so I have high hopes when I attend a yoga class abroad. This studio met them all. A gorgeous space with high ceilings and beautiful lounge, a well-trained teacher with a creative sense for sequencing (who also catered to all levels in the class), and a warm and generous staff who... situated very close to some great places to visit (Florence is not a large city anyways, you should be able to get around easily on bike), this yoga studio gives you the yoga with a Florentine vibe. Pleasant space and great staff!! oh and of course, great yoga. A nice way to remove tension after days of traveling.

My friend and I are staying in Florence for a few days and we attended a morning yoga class at it's yoga, firenze today. The first impression was overwhelming. The yoga studio is located in a beautiful old house with a bright and flowery patio. The room where the classes take place is fascinating with huge windows and a charming... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
