Castles and Chianti was a great day for Me and my Family. Vittorio Del Bono Venezze explained things about Chianti, Grappa, La Cinta Senese and honey that we would have never known. The proper way to taste wine and what to look for. He was a pleasure to spend the day with what a great tour. I recommend this tour... More

About 5 hours together making pasta (ravioli and wide fettuccini) and a bolognese sauce and tiramisu. Yum. Lot's of fun. Great chef/teachers. Reasonably priced. Close to the center of Florence. What more can you ask for? Online reservations were easy. Close to touristy shopping if you need a fix afterwards. Starts at 10 AM and ends about 3:30. Includes a... More

My wife and I were lucky enough to have a private wine tasting. Vittorio gave great information about the wine regions within Tuscany, and we sampled 5 different Chiantis. He taught us the correct way to open, pour, swirl, smell, and taste the wine. He also taught us how to pair food with different types of wine. It was a... More

The "Tuscan Wines" wine tasting at the Florence Wine Academy was my favorite activity in Florence! It was a fabulous way to learn more about wine in a fun and relaxed environment. Vittorio the sommelier was incredibly animated and personable-- none of the snobby affect that sometimes comes along with wine tasting. The 65 Euro tasting was well worth it... More

What an amazing experience! In the most elegant, relaxing atmosphere and warmth of a typical Florentine home overlooking the Arno, sampling the most delicious wines from the region. Our host was super gracious and explained everything you ever want to know about Tuscan wines in excellent English. Was prepared for any question at all and always made us feel comfortable.... More

What a great class we had learning about Tuscan wines! Vittorio was such a knowledgeable and friendly teacher. We are from Northern CA and have done many wine tasting courses both in Napa and Sonoma and have been in Tuscany before and have tasted Tuscan wines before, so even though we had a good understanding of tasting wine, Vittorio brought... Attending one of Vittorio’s wine tasting classes has certainly been a highlight of my time in Italy! While I’m a wine novice, I took this 2 hour class with two very experienced wine lovers. Vittorio was able to make the class enjoyable for all of us, despite our different levels of knowledge! In a an enjoyable and relaxing two hours... More

We had a wonderful few house learning about wine and tasting some lovely red wine. I was not such a red wine before this but now I know how to appreciate it I enjoy it more often. My husband loves his reds and now loves them even more. Is that a good thing? I'm not sure but at least now... More
