This is an absolute must for your visit to this region. Simon and Manuela were so charming and engaging we did not want the day to end. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of seeing, doing, cooking and drinking the local flavor. Visiting the Montefioralle vineyard and Ferdinando Siena, the owner was icing on the cake. My husband missed this Tuscan experience... More

We were picked up close to our hotel and driven into the Tuscan countryside. The ride provided beautiful scenery with some photo stops included. We arrived at the farmhouse of the Montefioralle vineyard where Manuela gave us our cooking lessons. The atmosphere could not be more authentic and the food we prepared under her direction was delicious. When we finished... More

A 9am start to a Slow Day sounds about right as we head off through the markets in the streets just north of the Duomo for a brisk walk down to the National Library on the Arno River to meet our tour for the day. We stroll through the Piazza Santa Croce and past the Cathedral of the same name... More

While in Firenze our group of eight wanted to experience the Tuscany country side and the slow pace it embodies. The "Slow Day" is a private tour and it was just our group on the tour which made it very personal. So much better than the tours we saw in Rome where the tour groups were so large the guides... We visited Florence in March and hired Donatella to take us on a wine tour based only on recommendations from trip advisor. We are a family of 4 (daughters 21,23). From the way Donatella greeted us I immediately felt a connection. She is warm, delightful, knowledgeable about the countryside and wine. She took us to 4 wineries where we toured... More

We visited Florence June 28-July 1, 2013. The last day we spent touring Tuscany with Simon and it was fantastic! I wish I could go back and do it all over again! Simon was a fantastic tour guide and we learned a lot about the area and wine. We began the tour with a grapevine lesson, stopped in Montefioralle for... More

This tour was amazing!! Simon was a fantastic tour guide and just truly and super nice guy!! We saw some of the most breathtaking views in all of Italy. We visited a family owned vineyard, went to eat at a small restaurant off the beaten path with yummy local cuisine, and visited a castle. This tour was the highlight of... More

First and foremost a big Thank You to Simon - this was the best day in our whole Tuscany stay. My wife, almost 2 year old and me enjoyed a fabulous day in Tuscany with Simo. He picked us up @ 9:30 am and he completely catered our trip around our wishes. The vineyard he tooks us to was amazing... More

My tour group consisted of six people (three couples), including a previous reviewer. We had the best of times. Simon was a real treat. He is super delightful, knowledgeable, and very happy to please his tour groups. Montefioralle is a wonderful place to see, Fernando was exceedingly hospitable, and the wine was delicious. If you want to stop to take... More
