I was SHOCKED! I booked this highly-rated food tour as a private tour for my friends and me -- primarily to provide some variety among all of the city tours we had planned in Italy. Quite honestly, I was a little skeptical that a "food tour" could be so fantastic, but I trusted the TripAdvisor reviews. And I'm glad I... More

I can say nothing but good about this tour. We were given a tour by Natalie that was fun, informative and tasty. We had a delicious pastry with cappuccino (allowed in the morning it seems). Learned about coffee etiquette in Italy and the distinct character of Tuscan food as opposed to food from other regions (including the explanation of why... More

Every effort is made to make this Food Tour enjoyable, informative and most importantly - delicious!! We had this tour with "Mama Nat" who taught us all the dos and donts of Tuscan drinking and eating. She was entertaining and highly informative. Not once did we feel rushed. In fact, Mama Nat ensured we had a thorough experience at each... More

We booked this before getting to Florence and really glad we did. Emailed Florence for Foodies and they were really helpful. Read some of the reviews which said it wasn't so good but I would disagree as we had a great time, Nat was really good - putting everyone at their ease and made the whole tour fun and informative.... One of the best things we did in Florence. It was just the two of us and we really lucked out. It was so amazing and interactive! Would recommend to anyone going to Florence!!

We were chaperoned by "Mama Nat" who involved everyone in the tour "family". She was entertaining, knowledgable and good fun and especially took time to answer questions. We discovered the subtleties of food & drink ordering, family rivalries, sweet & savoury pastries, the huge range of food in the market, and indulged in some speciality tastings, the entertaining "grappa baptism"... Oh, it was wonderful!! Our guide was "Mama Sam," who was so engaging and fun! The tour starts out with a trip to the Accademia where you will see the Michelangelo's David. Sam was full of knowledge about Michelangelo and his life and art, as well as the history of Florence, with the politics, religion and intrigue. It was a... More

Our group of four had a fantastic time with Natalie during the Nude and Food Tour. She has a wonderful personality and was very engaging. We started by spending about an hour at the Accademia learning about Michelangelo and the David. I would highly recommend adding this on to the food tour, we got so much more out of seeing... More

We are a family of 4 who were fortunate enough to have booked this tour with Nat. Nat is a rock star! From the first moment we met her, she was like a good friend. She is lively, interesting, and funny. Our kids loved her and she kept the day interesting and so much fun. It is well worth adding... More

We went with Natalie. It was February and we were the only participants which was our gain. It was fun and informative. I learnt something about Tuscan food traditions and lifestyle. I better understand some of the behaviours, the family small business approach and how the Tuscans view quality. We sampled many different things starting with a typical breakfast, pre... More
