This was a great tour! Natalie was engaging, knowledgeable, informative and easy to understand. The Academia tour was very interesting and well done, and the market was great fun. We had lunch in the market and tried several food items while she explained the local importance or what they were. After lunch in the market we went to a wine... More

My family and I had the best experience during our walking tour with Laura Berti, my experience with Laura at the onset of our communication was pleasant and very professional. Laura came highly recommended through a contact from a walking tour during my visit to Rome. Laura was very responsive to emails, knew exactly what my family and I were... More

Booking this tour was simple and easy and the communication via email was excellent. Our tour guide, Mama Sam, was excellent. She is very personable and energetic. It was fun to spend the day with her! The Nude Tour was amazing - perhaps because I came to the tour with zero knowledge. My attention was captured the entire hours. I... More

This is absolutely the best tour we have had in our years of traveling. Mamma Nat is caring and fun and knowledgeable. We have a small group of nationalities but we gel together and had a amazing tour of the Accademia museum , and the famous works of Michelangelo , including the famous David (Nude!!) statue. You will learn heaps... More

Mama Sam was amazing! This tour is a great way to experience Florence foods through a local person. It was neat to see a group of 10 strangers came together through food, wine and laughter. If you like food, this tour is worth your time and money! This experience was one of my top 3 after 14 days of amazing... More

Absolutely loved this tour. Started at the San Lorenzo Basilica as a meeting place. We then walked through the outside market to a pastichere for a local rice pastry and an espresso with chocolate. We then went to the central market for some samples, including a salumi and cheese tasting. We then went to an enoteca for a wine, olive... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour and especially all the info along the way. We were able to enjoy each stop without getting stuffed with food half way thru, and the wine shop stop was the highlight. If you are here for the first time I strongly urge you to include the David tour, it will make your visit more enjoyable and... More

We were bummed that we didn't sign up early enough to see Michelangelo's David on the tour, but the food portion more than made up for it. Mama Sam is the best! She truly made my wife and I feel comfortable right off the bat, getting us to interact with each other and asking her questions. We learned so much... More

This is one of the most fun tours we have taken. It is a walking tour in Florence beginning at the Academia Museum to see David. The guide Sam was great, full of information. She was full of all kinds of fun information. We went to the Centrale Market, a bakery and a gelato shop. The tour was from 9:00... More

We signed up for this tour based on the reviews we read from others. After spending 30 years in the restaurant business, we, humbly, consider ourselves "foodies". Never having been on a food tour, we didn't know what to expect. WOW!..... We were blown away! Mama Sam took her children "under wing" & educated & introduced us to some of... More
