I have never been one for booking tours, but I happened to be in Florence by myself and thought it was a great way to spend a day getting around the city. The tour was so much more than I could have anticipated, the group was small (3 of us) which made for a very relaxed day, Paul was hilarious... More

Me and my daughter had the great pleasure to take a florence in a day tour and have as guides - Teresa and Ellen. Teresa took us to see David and city highlights. We had interesting history reviews and beautiful art explanations, answer to every question and she was very considerable as a guide. Ellen took us through the Uffizi... More

We spent a full day in Florence on two separate tours from Walks of Italy. It was cold and rainy outside, as it was in early January. But...we loved the tours! Our guide was Paul in the morning and Teresa (sp?) in the afternoon. I so appreciate the smaller group or private tours. The one on one conversations with guide... More

We booked the David tour in the early morning hours while in Florence. Hands down, this was our favorite tour. Paul was the guide and gave us one on one attention making each little historical fact a mesmerizing story.

Excellent tour and highly recommended. It would take months...years even, to see the entire gallery, and I was so grateful we had someone as knowledgable as Paul to show us the way. He was extremely knowledge and enthusiastic and his deep appreciation for the art and history of the city made for a wonderful experience. We truly felt as if... More

My Wife and I booked the Uffizi Gallery tour during our trip last week and both of us thought it was one of the best tours we had been on. We to arrive 15mins before the tour started in the Piazza Signoria. We arrived on time and our guide greeted us withing seconds of our arrival. He then began to... More

Uffizi Gallery – Raphael, Da Vinci & Botticelli My daughter and I enjoyed our small group tour of the Uffizi. Our guide was very informative and told us interesting tidbits we would not have known about the artists, paintings, and the period. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the highlights of the Uffizi.

"We took 3 Walks of Italy tours while in Rome, Florence and Venice and each was a great experience. The guides were thorough and friendly and welcomed our questions. In Rome, we had the VIP Access Colosseum Underground, Arena & Forum tour but some rain caused the Underground and 3rd tier portions to be cancelled and refunded. Our guide Fernando... More

I would recommend this to everyone! Not only do you get local knowledge about the best places to buy food, you get a good understanding of why it's so good. We were given a tour by Riccardo, who is very funny and has a real passion for Florence and great a knowledge about wine. We tasted a variety of salamis,... More
