We had such a fantastic time on our day tour in the Chianti region of Tuscany! Andrea picked us up promptly at our hotel in a nice air conditioned van. He brought along his daughter who was just lovely. Before hitting the wineries, we made a first stop at San Gimignano, where we spent about an hour. It was so... More

My sister and I had a wonderful day being escorted around the Chianti Region by Andrea. He picked us up on time in a clean, modern car. He was a true Italian gentleman. Our trip include a visit to Sienna, a wine tasting luncheon and visits to several small towns include Greve and culminating in a stop at Piazza Michaelangelo... More

Andrea picked us up in the hotel lobby and guided us along the way of our Tuscany tour. He is a very knowledgable man who provided fascinating information about Florence along the way. It also helps that the people at the attractions seemed to really like him too. Couldn't have asked for a better guide!

The trip might be excellent, but you have to get on it first. Booked from Australia, great trouble getting the payment through. Emailed them, everything will be OK. Got to italy, their account still wouldn't take our money. Called them, the tour is full. Had a great day in Tuscany without them, and suggest everyone else does too.

Truly stupendous. Picked up at our hotel by Andrea C at Old Florence B&B in a very comfortable SUV, with stops at San Gimignano(with outstanding scenery and Doldi world champion gelato), Sienna, award-winning winery with wines, specialty garlic/truffle oils and balsamic vinegars that you can order/ship home, wonderful lunch at the winery, Monteriggioni(medieval city) and taken by a leather factory... Our day trip exploring the Tuscan countryside with our driver/guide, Andrea, was amazing. After 4 days in Venice and 2 days right in Florence, it was wonderful and refreshing to get out of the city and explore Tuscany. We did the Tuscany All in One Day tour and it was everthing I hoped for. Andrea was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging,... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
