What a lovely and memorable day. We booked this tour due to all the fantastic reviews it had and wow it was everything we had expected and more. We went on the best of Tuscany tour, this would be the one to choose if you are short on time. It started at 815am outside the train station SM, we left... More

Had a wonderful day in Cinque terre. Our guides Julian, Freddy and Nora were funny, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this if you plan to see all 5 places in a day And Gloria took us on the tuscany day trip visiting sienna, san gimignamo and pisa. She herself is from san gimignamo, hence could guide us to... More

This was by far the most disappointing part of my entire trip to Italy. The tour is advertised as a small group (12) cooking experience with a tour of local markets. It is true that you start as a small group of 12 for the tour of local markets, which in itself, was misleading. You stopped to purchase tomatoes, bread... More

This was the HIGHLIGHT of our whole month away. We were lucky enough to have Lavi and Molly take us for the day and Lavi for our tour. They were both fantastic and extremely passionate about the history as well as the sights. We wish we booked more tours through them! Thanks so much #walkaboutflorence

I had the Wine and dine & Florence night tour on 14th May. It was a great chance to enjoy the Tuscan food and all the matching wine. They served all the things very generously so I couldn't finish the dishes. I would simply take this tour next time when I visit Florence again. And the night tour ended over... More

We just returned from the Wine and Dine tour. On the way to the villa, while in the bus, we were caught in a terrible hailstorm. We were kept on the bus for safety, then provided with taxis, for as much of the walk as possible, to the villa. It is quite a walk, however and would be difficult for... More

We booked the Tuscany day tour through Viator which brought us to Walkabout Florence. Our tour guide Olivia was very sweet, knowledgeable and funny. It was a great way to see the Tuscan countryside, Pisa, Sienna, San Gimignano and a wine estate all in one day. And we never felt rushed.

My friend and I did this tour while we were traveling through Italy and it was by far the best meal we had on our week-long trip! They are very generous with the portions and wine and the view of Florence is beautiful. Well worth the money.

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
