I booked tour through Viator, but local company is Walkabout Florence. We had 2 wonderful guides Martina, Lavinia and Roberto , driver. It was a hiking tour. Best guides ever! They told us the history in the drive there . They also went with us in the trails , talked about the local plants , area history. Also guided us... More

My wife and I took the cooking class last month with Walkabout Tours. Our tour guide Martina was outstanding. We enjoyed a nice walk through florence buying ingredients and sampling coffee and cheese. The house where the cooking takes place was beautiful. The cook was very knowledgable and entertaining. All of the other guests on our tour were very friendly... More

We went on the Wine and Dine tour in Florence. The location was breathtaking, our tour guide was informative, the chef was personable, and the food and wine were great. I loved that our tour guide Stefano was a sommelier. When he served us the various bottles of wine, he was very informative. What a great evening!

5 stars isn't enough for this tour. Myself and my wife did the "Taste of Chianti" with Francesco. The entire day was brilliant and Francesco was an incredible guide and very knowledgeable. The group also got on very well together which may have had something to do with the 9 glasses of wine provided! Great value for money, beautiful scenery... More

Such an amazing experience! The setting was beautiful, the food was delicious but the company of our hosts and fellow diners was even better! Make sure to include this excursion on your next trip to Florence!

A friend and I joined the Cinque Terre tour. The towns the tour visits are stunning - all the blue skies and pretty painted houses you see on the postcards. The trek definitely makes you get a sweat on, but lunch (part of the tour) and all the gelato shops along the way will make sure you don't lose any... More

Excellent full day excursion from Florence. About 35 guests we managed by two knowledgeable and friendly tour guides, Fabian and Freddy. Lunch was very good and each village offered something different. Some fitness required but worth the effort.

Walkabout Tours are the best tour company that Florence has to offer. My daughter and I attended the Florence Food Tour and Small-Group Cooking Class at a Farmhouse in Tuscany and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip, Our tour guide was Gloria who was personable and extremely knowledgeable of all things Florence. The food tour was... More

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
