we weRe lucky to have a small group of 7 for our cooking class today. We walked through San Lorenzo market, bought our meat from the butcher and learned about different Tuscan meats and Italian foods before going to the kitchen! We learned how to make delicious ravioli and bolognese pasta as well as tiramisu!

We completed the Cooking class and market tour with Giovanni (GI) and Davide- excellent experience! Going through the market and seeing where the locals get the produce was great but to then learn from GI how to make authentic yet simple meals was awesome. As we learned what we may think is authentic at home is actually far from it,... More

Great experience and a great time!!! This class was the highlight of our time in Florence, we want to thank Chef Giovanni and the fantastic staff of the winery for showing us how to make pizza and gelato. Making pizza and gelato in the setting of a traditional countryside winery made the experience even more memorable. No one in our... More

My 10 year old and I opted for the private countryside cooking class. It was SO worth it. Starting with a trip to the market and an easy van ride out to the estate, and ending with delicious food that we cooked ourselves was just amazing. Chef Giuseppe was great with my daughter and all the people in the class... More

I took the market tour and cooking class today. What fun! Chef Alessio shared lots of hints and tricks about Italian food, cooking, and traditions. We made our own pasta dough and tiramisu, and then enjoyed the fruits of our labor -- with lots of chianti to wash it all down. I'd recommend this cooking class to anyone.

We took the Market Tour and Cooking Class, and had a great time. Our first stop was at the Mercato Centrale, which is quite large and amazing. There wasn't time to see it all, but Chef David did a great job talking about some of the highlights, including various meats and products, and how they are used in Italy. We... More

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our market tour and cooking class, where we learned how to make fresh pasta and tiramisu. We've repeated the recipes we learned a couple of times successfully - absolutely delicious food but so easy to make! The instructors were engaging, passionate about Italian food, helpful and funny. Definitely an activity I would recommend to... More

For some reason, it is hard to find interesting things to do at night in central Florence. I'm glad I ran across information of the Pizza and Gelato class. I signed up for the Class at my hotel and it was a good experience. If you want to use a credit card, book with the cooking program directly, rather than... More
