My boyfriend and I have been on a few wine tours in both the U.S. and Australia, and this tour is the best we have experienced. The guide gives you tons of great information about the region and how the wine is made. The two wineries we visited were beautiful and enjoyed every wine we tried. The lunch is fantastic,... More

I was in Europe for 16 days with my family (Ages 56, 55, 29, 25, 17) and we took the Wine and Villas tour and I have to say it was the highlight of our vacation. My friends had done a winery tour through this company and highly recommended it and it did not disappoint. I love how there were... More

The teacher/guide was super nice and knowledgable about the region, wine, etc. The wineries were beautiful, plentiful tastings, and delicious lunch. Never felt rushed. One of the highlights of the trip!

We had a great time on the tour. We took the all day wine and olive oil tour including a pizza making class. The winery tours provided great information and history of how their families grew the wineries. We were able to understand the olive oil business as well. The samples of the different wines and food samples were fantastic.... More

On a visit to Florence we wanted to have a short wine tour into Tuscany, on recommendation selected the Tuscany Wine Tours "Chianti Classico". We found it very informative, the guide and staff at the wineries we visited excellent and entertaining communicators, the lunch very good. The tour group was small probably about 10 couples which to me was a... More

great tour. Nice wines! Great knowledge of the guide. The wineries selected to visit provided us what I thought was the best pasta in Tuscany, in fact, my best meal in Tuscany. I am a wine enthusiast who never liked Chianti until this trip.

This was an awesome tour, the wine school was taught by a master Somalia (only 560 in the whole world ) and she really new her craft. The cooking school was small and personal, and completely over the top great. Highly recommend, but no place to park and you can get tickets very easy around the school.

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
