Antonio was a fantastic tour guide. He told us the history of Florence and showed us places that off the tourist beaten track and of course the tourist attractions. He gave us useful tips about where to eat, shop, places of interest. We really enjoyed our bicycle tour around Florence and the ice cream at the end of the tour... More

The best thing we did on our first night in Florence. Our guide Vanessa was lovely and we saw everything including the sunset. A great finish with a gelati. Easy ride for any age except the final hill to the lookout which I had to walk. I am not a regular rider. Highly recommended.

Florence is a beautiful city, but with the heat and 11 and 14 year old children, it isn't a place to walk around all day to get an introduction. Our 11 and 14 year olds were slightly sceptical having walked from the train station in searing late afternoon heat and seen nothing but a few old streets, about which they... More

We were facing record-breaking temperatures in Italy during our visit. This bike tour was a great way to see parts of the city that we might not otherwise have seen in our limited time there. Also - cycling creates its own breeze - so we were pleasantly comfortable during our tour - and the gelato didn't hurt! Our tour guide... More

i AM HAPPY you had a nice tour with us. I am sorry though if you didn't have enough time for pictures but we really do our best to squeeze all the must see highlight in three hours and sometimes extra time for stops must be requested... I'll tell the guides to take care of this aspect a bit more... More

We had a 6 hour layover in Florence on our way to Venice from Rome and picked this tour because it sounded different and included food tastings. It was a lot better than we expected. We had a small group of 7 which was perfect when trying to stay in line and follow as Valentina led us around the beautiful... More

We love to do bike tours and this one ranks as one of the best we have done. We did this with our two daughters, 15 and 11. The sunset tour is of medium difficulty primarily because it includes a climb to the Piazzale Michelangelo which is not very steep but is a fairly long ascent - definitely not for... More

This bike tour was the perfect balance in seeing Florence in the most authentic way. Paddling through the streets as the locals do gave me a sense of what it would be like to actually live in this amazing city. It also allowed me to see more of the city than walking would while still being able to maneuver through... More

Our guide Antonio, was very nice and knowledgeable. That being said I feel this company is not very well prepared. They do not offer helmets, baskets, nor bags. Two of the bikes had to be exchanged because the tires were out of air and the handlebars on the other bike kept falling forward. I think at the very least they... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
