My husband and I had a very limited amount of time in Tuscany, as we were arriving on a cruise ship docking in Livorno for a day. I researched several sites from a Google search for a tour guide in Tuscany, and found Guido's Tours. Guido responded the same day I had requested information, with a comprehensive email of everything... More

We were getting frustrated with the wine farms and their bookings systems. We also wanted to understand the wines better. The host at our hotel recommended Guido - a sommelier who takes tours in Tuscany. It was a great decision. he took us to places we would not have been able to visit on our own and we were able... We first met Guido when we toured with him on a cruise ship port day out of Livorno a couple years ago. When I found out that I was going to have some time in Italy with my BFF as part of a belated big birthday celebration, my first email was to Guido. What a day! Guido met us right... More

Guido led us on an amazing tour of tuscan wines and medieval villages. We went on a tour with Guido in early May. There were 6 of us and we were on a cruise through the mediterranean. This tour was the highlight of our trip, relaxed, fun, informative, overall amazing. Though it was the most money we spent in any... More

We had a tour with Guido on May 20th and it was wonderful!! He picked us up at our cruise ship promptly at 7:30am and drove us through the beautiful countryside of Tuscany to the medieval village of San Gimignano. He gave us some time to walk around the village and then drove us to another village, where we were... More

Guido was the best. He picked us up at La Poggiolaia and took us to Villa Montepaldi and Casa Emma. We tasted wonderfull and rich Chianti Classico wines and rich vibrant olive oils. We had lunch at the most wonderful quaint restuarant in the Chanti Region. The hills of Tuscany were spectacular as we drove through the villages. Guido was... More

Guido met us on time at arranged spot in Florence. We went directly to Monteriggioni to get there before the crowds. He gave an hour there on our own as we had asked for. Then it was off on a trip around Chianti Classico country and we were given the benifits of Guido's vast knowledge of the history of the... More

Wonderful tour with Guido. With a group of six people, it was difficult to satisfy everyone however Guido accomplished it. We stopped at four locations - Siena, Tenatu Niccolai (winery), San Gimignano, and a small town with a long name. The vehicle was perfect - large van that comfortable held our group. Along the drive, Guido was very attentive to... More

Our group of four toured with Guido over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was the most memorable part of our two weeks in Italy, and Guido made that difference. He is knowledgeable, personable, prompt, and, above all, passionate. In Chianti Classico, Guido arranged private tours of Villa Montipaldi (run by the University of Florence) and Villa Cafaggio. He took us to... More
