My husband and I decided on the spur of the moment to go on a Vespa tour of the Tuscan hills for something different to do in Florence and we were not disappointed. We chose the original Vespas and it was a good choice as they were almost new and in much better condition than the Smart scooters. We were... More

Our experience was great. We loved the scenery and the lunch included in our tour. But was disappointed that we did not get the t'shirt for the Vespa booking.

This was the best part of our trip to Italy. I loved riding around the hills of Tuscany. This tour is great for beginners. My sister had zero riding experience and she had no problem. The Vespas are small (50cc) and are automatic so there is no shifting involved. Our guides were fantastic and the food and wine were wonderful... More

Incredible experience in one of the most beautiful places i´ve ever been. Even though at the end of the ride was cold. It was very enjoyable.

Guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable about the wine making process at the villa we visited. The Vespa ride was fantastic. We rode all through the country side. (about 40 KM). The roads were pretty busy on the 2pm tour however, so sign up for the earlier one if you are a nervous scooter-er. Dinner was ok, and the wine... More

We arrived in Florence by train on a Sunday afternoon and were overwhelmed by the crowds and the shoulder-to-shoulder bustle of the shopping district. I'm so glad I booked the vespa tour on a whim right before our Europe tour began, because it was the unexpected high point of our 6-city tour. The Florencetown tours meeting point was easy to... This was a great tour. The Vespa's are very easy to drive and the views and scenery are fantastic. Very knowledgeable guide. You really get an intimate portrait of the Tuscany/Chianti region. The food after the tour was wonderful. Can not more highly recommend this tour.

Our tour began in the morning and we had a gorgeous warm sunny day. It took a bit of time to actually get on the road with our Vespa's due to a lengthy orientation (which is understandable just time consuming) We hit the road by almost 11am and enjoyed the route we traveled and the pace of the tour. Would... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
