Staff were great to offer to reschedule the Vespa tour as it was raining on our scheduled day. 2 days later weather was great, and our guide, Leonardo was wonderful. The Vespas ran well, but we would've preferred to have a longer training run, and needed to be done in a larger area. Could be a bit scary for some,... More

I studied abroad in Florence for eight weeks and this is one of my favorite things that I did! The guides were great and it was absolutely beautiful.

My boyfriend and I ended up having a private tour because no one else signed up for the same time slot! So thank you for not cancelling on us! The guides were so friendly and welcoming. The food was to die for and we had it all to ourselves!! I was not able to get the hang of driving a... More

Extremely interesting and fun trip. The guides were a lot of fun, however... Safety was there 1st priority. Lunch was great ... Driving in Italy is something else... (even the country). The guides took every precaution with the riders. Even telling two they could not ride together because they were not experienced. Good thing, one almost crashed into a few... More

This was one of my favorite things to do during my 3 week trip to Northern Italy, Switzerland, and Paris. I love the transportation in Europe and learning to ride a scooter was the turning point for me. I loved this so much that I bought a Vespa scooter when I got back to the states!!! :-) this tour is... More

We found this tour on TripAdvisor and went there to book a tour the same afternoon. The tour starts by a bus ride of 25 minutes, so you don't have to ride the vespa in town, good idea. After a little training we hit the roads of chianti classico area. First stop was at ruffino winery, where we had a... More

I am happy that I made the decision to sign up for this tour. The tour guides were helpful. Riding scooter through the countryside roads in Chianti was definitely one of the most interesting experience during my Italy trip. The day was ended with local wine and high quality appetizers. Money well spent.

We were 2 couples travelling together and this tour was booked by our travel agent. What a highlight! Very professional guides Francesco and Martel gave good instruction on riding the vespas and shared their knowledge of wine in the region. Beautiful lunch to finish the day. Would thoroughly recommend to get away from tourist crowds in Florence and experience Tuscany.... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
