My husband and I braved the Vespas for the first time and had a blast! They do test runs with everyone to gadge ability to drive and worse case scenario you get to be a passenger. Our guide was great (and I will murder his name if I even try to spell it) and was very patient in teaching as... More

The countryside is beautiful and riding is done on country roads. However you should be prepared to be passed on narrow roads by cars since you will be holding traffic back. They do not give any instruction at all. I am a motorcycle rider with many years of experience in heavy traffic. This ride made me nervous probably due to... More

Relly enjoyed the Chianti wine tour. Learned so much from our guide / sommelier. It was good to get out into the countryside as well. Tried some wonderful chianti, had lunch, very mellow. No pressure to purchase but did bring home a bottle from each winery.

Those old architecture buildings, the surroundings and the fresh air is really so refreshing..reminds me of my visit to Bath, U.K. last year..Did a day trip to Florence and regretted not spending more time touring around Florence..

Combining the uffizi by skipping the line with a tour to the secret corridor of the medici family - absolutely stunning! The uffizi themselves are mindblowing, their collection is outstanding, but it will get better. In the uffizi collection you will walk with your gide among all the other groups and visitors - nice but nothing fancy. But then one... More

This cooking class was definitely our most fun "tour" in Italy. The fact that it was hands-on and led with a professional but humorous touch made it truly enjoyable. We had a large class of 24, but our chef-guides Andre and Guiseppe kept us all busy and participating. We began by walking to the Mercato Central where we tasted olive... More

There are tours and there are tours. Many guides can't avoid banalities, broad-brushing, and gross mistakes of fact or interpretation so that after 1/2 hour one feels tired. Our guide Michele Collòca kept his multinational group's attention peaked for 3 1/2 hours, until we emerged from the Vasari corridor and walked to an open-air café where a farewell glass of... More

We decided to book a Pizza and Gelato workshop @ Florencetown after browsing Tripadvisor. We were not dissapointed. It was a great group of people (families with kids as well as couples). Giovanni was an expert teacher (very strict with humor) in teaching us the better tricks to making great pizza dough and creating the best pizza ever made. We... More

My husband and I took two cooking classes while in Florence through Florencetown. The first was a Pizza, Calzone, and Gelato making class led my Giovanni and Guiseppe. It was so much fun! We learned so much and the food we made was absolutely delicious. The second class we took was the full day market tour and cooking class led... More
