I planned a "surprise" Anniversary trip for my wife and I to Florence. I dream of being a chef and she always wants to learn to cook (and I don’t have the patience to teach), so I decided a cooking class with us together would be a great way to relax and learn. Thanks to reviews on Trip Advisor, it... more

I read about this tour on TripAdvisor. It includes the Uffizi gallery and the exclusive Vasari Corridor – which is over the Ponte Vecchio and contains a plethora of self-portraits. If time is precious, booking a place on the tour will remove the need to join the lengthy queues. The tour lasts about 2.5 hours. The first 1.5 hours is... more

FlorenceTown offers a good variety of different tours. We took their Vespa tour through Chianti and it was by far the best day of our entire honeymoon and was worth every penny. It was a perfect, September day, with sunshine and a breeze. Feeling the wind go through your hair, the sun on your skin, seeing the rustic villages, the... more

Our concierge from The Golden Tower Hotel found a cooking class for us prior to arrival. We loved it because it totally catered to our needs. We wanted our 11 year old to be included and we wanted to learn to make pasta, gnocchi, risotto and we were wanting a specific day and time. Florence Town was wonderful to accomodate.... more

My girlfriend and I met Fadi on 17th August 2009 when we took a city bike tour with FlorenceTown (http://www.florencetown.com/tour-details.php?id=40&cat=if&lan=eng). This was the first time either of us had ever been on a bike tour so we had no idea what to expect. We began the tour in the Piazza Della Republica where Fadi provided us with an excellent introduction... more

I booked a tour of the Vasari Corridor through FlorenceTown, because I happened to land on their site as I googled Vasari corridor. Having dreamed of visiting this corridor for the last fifteen years, since I was a student in Florence, I wanted to know if it was still for the happy few. I was astonished to see that tours... more

If you are making your way to Florence anytime this is a must. I actually read the review of a fellow TripAdvisor reader and she was more than correct! The tour was well organized and full of just enough information to keep you interested. The guide was a passionate art historian who highlighted the most important museum pieces complemented with... more

I’m an italian student and I’ve always lived in Florence, I visited the Uffizi only when I was a child, so when I see that Florencetown offered an Uffizi and Vasaari Corridor tour I decided to take part in it. It has been a great opportunity since I thought visiting the Vasari corridor was nearly impossible. I was particularly lucky... more

I found information about this tour Online. My husband and I have always loved the Ponte Vecchio, but I was curious to know what there was inside. The Medici were crazy!...building a corridor all for themselves!!! The tour was very nice; the guide Leonardo was knowledgable and very kind. We would definitely recommend this tour! Additionally, it gives you a... more

Since i'm one of the biggest fans of Renaissance and it's architectural development, this tour was a dream come true! U can call me an Uffizi maniac, since i spent 10 days in Florence and was there 4 times! on my 3rd trip to the Uffizi i noticed a group of people being escorted by a guide and let into... more
