We stumbled across Piazza Santo Spirito one Sunday afternoon. We looked around the lovely antique market, shared a porchetta roll but then decided to stay for lunch. Lovely pasta and a bottle of red. Perfect

We stayed at this apartment that was conveniently located to the main attractions, but was away from all the hustle and bustle of the crowds across the river. The apartment was superbly decorated with taste and function. We actually used the kitchen quite a bit and found all the amenities including a dishwasher. We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and are... More

This piazza has lots of character and an abundance of eateries. We chose Osteria Santo Spirito and weren't disappointed. Even if not eating, this is a great place to just chill. Apparently there's a monthly organic market here though sadly we missed it.

This particular piazza contains the Basilica of Santa Maria del Santo Spirito. Which is a great church.

Not very pretty but authentical. Little market going on even in december. Try some food with one for the less touristic places here. You'll love the better quality and sound of Italian surrounding you.

Walked through this area a few ties during my stay in Florence. In the day there is a hugh market that takes up most of the piazza, at night there is a lot of activity here with tourists and loals a like filling in the area for food and drinks.

Of all the piazzas in Firenze, this is the one we most frequented during our month-long visit. A couple of blocks from the river on the Oltrarno side of the Santa Trinita Bridge, it is an old, vibrant center. In the morning, you can get a great café and pasta at Caffé Ricchi. During the day, there is a quaint... More

We stayed in a wonderful apartment near this area. Loved waking up and visiting the local bakery and sitting in the plaza to people watch. A lot of food options and beautiful stores nearby.

We were a group of six and stayed in Piazza Santo Spirito for a week in a large apartment. It is such a vibrant area and we were definitely happy with our choice of areas. Early mornings the square is filled with interesting market stalls. At night the place comes alive with locals sitting on the steps drinking or eating... More

This piazza has a bohemian vibe to it -lots of great places for appertivo and dinner. Try Trattoria Borgo Antiqua for a great meal.
