Nice little square that has antique/flea markets second Sunday of the month. Pleasant enough to browse around for a little while and some good restaurants/cafes around. Note though that tripadvisor location was wrong by >2kms (may have been resolved so check against printed maps before going).

According to my friends living in Florence, this is the place where the real italian people hang out at night and have drinks. That I don't know, but one thing it's true: there are not as many tourists here as in the other places I've been to in Florence. I just went there during the day but I really enjoyed... More

This piazza is surrounded by nice, simple and fun restaurants and bars. One can sense a live and young atmosphere specially at night. It is accross the Oltrarno river. I got this tip from local friends. I got the feeling it is a less touristic area (if there is such a thing in Florence...). At least, it is definitely less... More

A bit miserable today... cold and wet, and not many people around.... I guess winter is approaching We sat down at Ristorante Ricchi on the piazza for a coffee. The atmosphere was homely and the coffee was good, but the staff were not particularly friendly.

Several nice outdoor restaurants to choose from, smaller than many other Piazzas, off the beaten path.

We were lucky enough to rent an apartment on this square for three nights. The square itself is interesting, plenty of restaurants and cafes, and definitely worth a visit. As is the church, which has a deceptively plain exterior but a beautiful interior. Recommended.

Nice to hang out in the evenings, good atmosphere, interesting people. You can sit in the shade of trees, enough benches, or eat/drink on the square.

Staying just round the corner from this lovely Piazza, we ended up sitting for an hour or two just about every night of our holiday. At one end is the church of Santo Spirito, beautifully lit to show off it's imposing dominance of the Piazza. Along one side are several small, quiet bars and a few small restaurants. In the... More

We loved it, we try to visit every trip because it is an unexpected surprise in comparison to the major historic attractions. It's hip, laid back, has a lovely ambiance day or night. Definitely quirky. It has a calm feeling with many trees, a fountain, church steps and a number of restaurants to try. It's a great place for people... More

It is a great square but too bad it is not kept clean. It is very dirty and attracts a strange crownd, especially on the steps of the church. There are however some good places to eat.
