We were researching wine tours and came across Tuscan Trails. It had excellent reviews. We contacted Todd and received an email confirmation for our booking right away. Todd picked us up in Florence and gave us lots of interesting information on the way to the first winery. The first winery had so much history and we loved that Todd himself... More

We just went to Florence for our honeymoon but wanted a day outside of the city-and Todd provided the most memorable experience! We toured two excellent wineries, had a delicious local lunch, and made wonderful friends. Todd is extremely knowledgeable and was so helpful in shipping our wines back to the states. Overall, an excellent price for fantastic views of... More

We went on our second tour with Todd recently and it was an amazing time. From the vineyards to the lunch, it was fantastic. My wife is going again with her friends to a different region because we had such a great time.

It was absolutely amazing tour. Thank you Todd. Our trip to Florence would not be the same without this tour. Todd is originally from California. He has lived Florence for over 13 years. The tour was wonderful from the beginning to the end. Todd met us at the designated location in the morning. There were 5 of us on the... More

I've been on seven Tuscany Trails trips with Todd with the Cal State Fullerton College of Communications study-abroad program I've taught in. Everyone, students and faculty alike, enjoys these trips, every year. This summer's was particularly good because he told everyone a little less and told it even better. He updates his research on history of the DeMedicis and their... More

Family of 4 (children 18 & 20) spent the day with Todd and 4 other fun travelers on his tour. Todd was not only very informative regarding the wines and wineries, he was great at sharing the history of the region. The day we very full and well planned with a relaxing, enjoyable and very tasty lunch. The wines were... More

Recommended by our daughter-in-law as a "must do" in Florence, we had high expectations about a wine tour with a transplanted American. Well ... it could not have been better. Todd has an extraoridnary command of the culture, the narrative, the wine and the food. We visited two wineries and had a great lunch. The wines were superb and available... More

Great experience with Todd's wine tour. I contacted Todd three months prior to our visit to Florence; he responded quickly and reserved two seats for his 7 hour Chianti tour. We met him at 10am in a central site in Florence and off we went with 6 others in his VW minivan. We drove 30 min out of town while... More

Todd is knowledgable, articulate and great at what he does, which in this case is wine. He is a trained sommelier and takes you to wineries with rich heritage. He helps you navigate the strange world and process of Italian and Tuscan wines. It is a comfortable ride too! It was great to join as a solo and still feel... More

My now husband and I visited Florence, Italy for our new year elopement. We decided to take a wine tour and selected Tuscan Trails. We were very fortunate to have Todd Bolton as our guide. Todd was wonderful from the first email we received. We were a little concerned due to our timing of being in Italy between Christmas and... More
