Trust in Google and your sense of adventure and you can find the Segway tour easily. The tour was a small manageable group. We took off in the evening and explored vast sections of Florence. It was great to have some streets and areas devoid of tourists. This is an extremely informative and fun tour. I recommend doing this tour... More

My wife and I were excited at thought of a Segway tour of Florence, but it far exceeded our expectations. The orientation and practice was a dream and the Segway itself is easy to master and as is turned out easy to ride. We rode past all the highlights - and some other undiscovered gems - this beautiful city has... More

Obviously I like riding segway and it was fun to do it again. We booked this tour after having an extremely great time in Rome with the same company but the tour leader in Florence was terrible. She didn't know much, she couldn't communicate the information with people and she was almost aggressive towards people when they were asking questions... More

We were in Florence in mid-July, when the temperature was usually over 100°F. We didn't want to be out in the sun any more than necessary, so we signed up for the night-time tour. It was a good call. Not only was the heat bearable, since the temperature dropped to around 90°F by 8 pm, but Florence lights up at... More

Our guide, Vanessa, was such a delight and had so much passion for Florence and it's history, the fact that we were on Segway was just icing on the cake. We learned about the history, the legends and the architecture in a way that was entertain for both our 15 year old and her perhaps *slightly* older parents. This was... More

Huge thanks to Mya for making our climb up the Duomo a success (despite some difficult guests!) Mya was knowledgable and accommodating and for the first time during our trip in Italy, this was a tour where we actually got to skip all the lines (not just skip some lines only to wait in others). Highly recommend!

This was the third Segway tour I have done (after Rome and Hamburg) and I highly recommend them. It's fun :-)

A great adventure with friends as we went through the streets of Florence. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the city and we had a great time being active riding the segways. It really makes for a fun way to learn about the city you visit.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
