On arrival at Florence Tasting we met Angela, our guide for the tour and were surprised to find ourselves the only persons attending. Angela forged on regardless, conducting us enthusiastically around a number of interesting venues where we were able to sample and learn about some of the important gastronomic products of Florence. Our first port of call was an... More

We had an amazing wine tour today through Chianti. Italy on A Budget gave us such a personal and authentic experience. Irene was a tour guide and she was so fun and helpful! It was great to have a guide who was actually a local of Chianti. Overall, my favorite day in Italy so far! Thank you!

This was one of the most enjoyable times we spend in Florence. It is an intimate setting, a few others, and an excellent way to enjoy Valentine's day. The sommelier was excellent, very knowledge, and friendly. He included an excellent local beer tasting, explained all about olive oil, and four excellent local wines. For the wine enthusiast, this is a... More

We had a great time at our tasting in Florence. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the wonderful lady that did ours right now, but she was great. She was very knowledgable and made it interesting and fun for all of us. The wines she chose were excellent as were the oils. We actually ended up ordering one... More

Stop reading reviews and book now! These tours are amazing! Not only are they unbelievably affordable, their guides are knowledgable and make the tours absolutely worthwhile. It's nice to see a smaller company run tours as the passion is still there. It's wonderful to truly dive into the Italian culture even if its only a short amount of time. This... More

In August we visited Florence. Our travel agent Alessia Moro of Cultural Italy (who turned out to be great!) arranged this tasting. We didn't even ask for a wine tasting but when she arranged it we said why not! I've been to a number of wine tastings all over the world but this one was different. Our sommelier was charming... My friend and I were surprises by the incredible value of this tour. We've been traveling for a month now and have only seen tourists. This tour combined both the sights of Tuscany and authentic Italian tradition. Our trip involved wine tasting in a private vineyard in Chianti, roaming in the medieval village in which Gladiator was filmed, sight seeing... More

Frederica was our wonderful guide on a tasting tour of Florence. We visited several establishments and at each one we were given explanations of the foods we were consuming, including coffees, wines, meats and cheeses. We learned the proper Forentine way to drink espresso...standing up. We were treated to white truffle sandwiches, several wines....dinner and dessert, pasta with ragout, two... More
