The organ player in the duomo played beautifully! I love everything about Cortona... the sights, the people, the food, the feelings it evokes.

A waste of time, fortunately free to access. Nothing worth mentioning. You are better off heading straight for thé Museo Diocesano!

"Under Tuscant Sun" was such a delightful movie that made me put Cortona in my list of "must see places". Its a little city in the Countryside of Tuscany filled with beautiful sunflowers. The Cathedral like many other Churches in Italy is very welcoming and historic. Walking through this little village to get to the Cathedral, really made me feel... More

Cortona's Cathedral is a very simple and beautiful Duomo. It's so indicative of the type of Cathedral that you will find in small hill towns throughout Northern Italy. It's worth wandering in and admiring.

Lovely Cathedral, it is very popular with the travellers so take the time to visit. It was a very cold day when we visited and raining. Paintings are beautiful works of art and very very old.

We stopped here for a few hours and walked the streets and visited the inside of the Cathedral. This entire area is quiet and peaceful. Makes me want to live here.

Although I did not go inside the duomo, I did wander the walking path in Cortona. Lovely little village which is a short train ride from Florence (and a bus ride from the train station).
