My wife and I had an absolutely fabulous day with Alessandra shopping, cooking and (of course) eating! Alessandra was warm and welcoming from the word go. We talked about the menu (which she had written up with the recipes and explanation of the cooking) and ourselves over a Cappucino and then spent an hour or so shopping for food (and... More

What a wonderful way to spend a day. Starting with a cappuccino in a piazza, where the conversation flows and you get to know your fellow classmates. A tour of the countryside and purchasing the ingredients like a local. Then to a home where you actually feel at home. This is less like a class, and more like a bunch... More

This fall we spent two "full" days with Alessandra. I had two different groups of friends, and my wife and I both times. Everyone agreed it was the best cooking class they had ever attended, and there had been many before. After some classes you think I might try that again someday, but never do. Alessandra teaches the techniques and... More

We spent 12 hours with Alessandra and the only reason it was not longer was because we had a long drive back to Sansepolcro. We experienced making and eating some "real" Italian dishes, but even better, we formed a wonderful friendship. Alessandra is the best..Period! Time spent with her is a revelation about great Italian cooking and day-to-day life in... More

We had a wonderful day cooking and talking with Alessandra. We enjoyed learning about the history of Italian cooking and putting Alessandra's knowledge to work on our own masterpieces. It exceeded our expectations and would recommend to anyone desiring to learn about Italian food and how to cook Italian food. What a wonderful lady, a joy to meet. Riccardo and... More

Alessandra's cooking class was by far one of the top highlights of our trip! I'm not sure where to begin, to start, Alessandra is amazingly talented and a pleasure to be around, we laughed all day long. Her food and style of teaching, makes cooking fun and we learned a ton! We're excited to try making her recipes on our... More

This was the most delightful experience in Cartona. Be prepared for a full day (morning till night) of cooking with a most delightful chef. Classes are in her charming home. You will come away full of great food, wine and laughter. Strangers become friends and Alessandra is warm, entertaining and full of information, culinary and otherwise. This was truly one... More

My wife and i spent the day and night with Alessandra for a cooking course. It was the best time that we had in Italy. We consider ourselves "foodies" so we actually travel directed by food. We ate at every well known and highly recommended restaurants throughout Italy...and I will still say that the meal we made with Alessandra was... More

A friend and I signed up for Alessandra's class as I've always loved cooking Italian food. What I didn't envision was spending an entire day bonding with 4 amazing women who were total strangers and sharing our life stories, dreams, etc. The day started in Cortona with getting to know each other before heading into the market - butcher shop,... My family and I visited with Alessandra in July, 2013. There were eight of us. We visited Cortona and Alessandra near the end of our trip. Out of our 6 children that traveled with us, 4 of them voted our cooking class/day their favorite experience of the trip. Only to be topped by The Colosseum and Pompeii! We met Alessandra... More
