Traveling with teens we tried to find some teen friendly activities and we are all so glad we found this class! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Our class was with Veronica Clemente at her cooking studio in her Villa La Quericia in Impruneta not too far from Florence. Veronica was wonderful and we all learned... More

I found Ciao Laura after reading an issue of Food & Wine; they highlighted "bespoke wine tours" and though Ciao Laura was not mentioned, I found them as I researched options for our Italy trip. Laura was very responsive to inquiries and many, many follow up questions. She facilitated a wine tour for me and four others and invoiced us... More

This was a cicchetti (bar snacks) tour that concentrated on quality food and accompanying drinks (unlike so many many that are bar crawls). We met our guide Monica (who was absolutely lovely) and she took us to sample Venice's best gelato to start our tour. Venice is full of tourists but we saw parts of Venice where the locals ate... It was a small group cooking course in a very lovely kitchen setting. Kids enjoyed themselves very much. Veronica was very friendly. We got useful tips. Menu wasn't complicated and this really inspires kids to try their learning at home. It would be perfect if every of us got the recipe sheets.

We had a private cooking class with Veronica in her Tuscan kitchen and my husband and I had a wonderful experience. Veronica was warm and friendly and happy to answer all of our questions. She had printed up recipes but was very flexible and changed one when she found out it was something I didn't particularly like. Everything was hands... More

A perfect family activity that nicely tied all the enjoyable things we experienced in Italy together. Good food, quality ingredients, scenery, wine, and togetherness. We organized the session 3 days in advance and experienced it the day before we left. Veronica, our chef had the patience of an angel and really geared the session to the four kids ages 6yrs... Our group booked Ciao Laura, and Babs was the chef we were provided with for our group cooking class, and meal that followed.Everyone was completely satisfied and more than happy with the results. Everything we made was prepared from scratch, Bread, pasta even: made by hand from scratch. Babs was also a very friendly person, easy to get along with... More

Booking our Italian trip with Ciao Laura was an excellent decision. My husband and I travelled with our 22 yr old daughter for 16 days through Venice, Florence, Positano and Rome. Laura Faust was extremely careful in the planning stage to ensure the trip included all aspects that appealed to our travelling tastes and desires. She offerred options within the... More

Our cooking class has been the talk of our trip to Italy thus far, and booking through Ciao Laura could not have been easier! From our arrival and tour of the property, through the extensive and thoughtful explanations of everything from the gardens to the selection and preparation, to the wine and the personal family stories, our day with Veronica... My husband and I experienced the Farm to Fork cooking class with Veronica in Imprunete...it was super fun and special. I immediately came home and made fresh pasta! Working with Ciao Laura was easy and complete. Everything was perfect! Can't wait to do it again. Thanks again, Melissa, Texas
