The one star is for the view. The place is way overpriced and the snacks we had were all substandard.

As many we went to this place for it's incredible view. But that's all it is and we should have stayed away from it : prices far too expensive, poor quality food (nothing but industrial), arrogant and cold waiters. Well enjoy the view from the place and get lunch / a drink elsewhere !

I went for lunch. It's supposed to be an historic cafe, visited by various luminaries in the past. The staff are friendly and a little ingratiating but the food is far too expensive for what it is: Euros 20 or a classic salad. The menu was not varied or exciting. Small portions and the parmesan was grated, not even shaved.... More

Far too expensive. Granted the view is good but its not worth 9.50euro for 330ml of Guinness. Place is virtually empty every night and I'm not surprised with the prices they charge. Food portions are very small too.

The views from the outside seating area are fantastic and it's a great place to people watch as it's situated in one corner of the busy main square of Taormina. It was a little pricey for drinks (€6.30 for a local beer and €4 for a Sprite - you can find the same elsewhere for around €3 and €2 respectively).... More

There is a reason why there are no locals there. I'm sorry I only gave a star and couldn't go lower. Really this star is for the fantastic musicians who are the only stars of this otherwise boring cafe. The location is fantastic. The views are beautiful. And that's it. It is overpriced beyond belief. I had a sandwich. Bread,... More

This place isn't just about going for a drink. It is all about the bigger picture, yes drinks are a tad pricey but that is the same the world over when you are sitting in a prime location. My husband and I thought it was magical. We sat and listened to the most amazing sax player, the views were simply... More

Being located right on the edge of the piazza with a stunning view is not enough to warrant the prices and VERY average drinks….where was the alcohol? Take a photo and go elsewhere…this place is a LEMON ! Rude staff does not help its cause.
