Great craft Sicilian beer in a cool bar right on the Corso Umberto,

As a real ale/craft beer lover, I was not expecting to find much to write home (or on Tripadvisor) about from our visit to Taormina. The southern Mediterranean, I imagined, would provide a refreshing, if somewhat insipid and predictable diet of fizzy golden beer. The first bottle of Birra Moretti, after a long day's travelling, barely touched the sides, or... More

Really cool little bar with jazz. Nice. Right in the middle of Corso Umberto II. Colourful, musical, laid back, friendly bar. Recommended

We stumbled across this bar on our first night of our two week stay in Taormina and returned just about every night. Great atmosphere, good drinks at fair prices and friendly welcoming staff.

Taormina is a small town with lots of pricey options. We saw the paninis as a good cheap eat. They tasted ok and left us fed.

We stayed a few days in Taormina and this became our firm favourite bar in the main town. Extensive list of wines by the glass, cocktails and craft beers. Staff and ambience very nice and friendly.

stayed 2 weeks in Taormina and loved this little chilled out bar. Generally I'm not a fan of the improvised jazz music but it suited the mood of the place and I loved the live act we saw one night. They do a great bruchetta and g&t. Very friendly staff and hreat for just people watching.

Visited numerous times on this years trip to Taormina, very friendly staff and reasonable prices (€4 for lovely bruschetta) and around the same for a beer is good value compared to many UK prices. Coupled with a decent complimentary bowl of snacks and great location to watch the hoards go by... We loved it. Craft beers also available and great... More

Taormina seems to be suffering a hangover hanging onto its heyday. We didn't spot one outstanding restaurant however this is people watching paradise with a bottle of Grillo Bianco and tomato bruschetta!
