I was able to receive a week long tour from SunnySicily as a member of a photojournalism class travelling to photograph and learn more about Sicilian culture. Some of the locations that we visited during this trip include Alimena, Palazzo Adriano, Catania, Castelbuono, Noto, Cefalù, Taormina, Castellammare del Golfo... and more. That being said, this experience would not have been... More

We had a wonderful experience in Palermo and Trapani Province with Paolo! As an english-speaking driver and guide, he is professional on all fronts, friendly, patient, tireless. He is especially knowledgeable about all things Sicilian and eager to share his wealth of knowledge. Having Paolo as our guide greatly enhanced our experience of Sicily; I don't think I can overstate... More

I never write reviews but SunnySicily DESERVES one! I travel a lot and normally I rent a car to get around so that I can see the sights on my own terms, in my own time. Knowing Italian driving and also that I was traveling with my mom, I decided that I would book a driver for us instead. I... More

Personal tour is what it is, personal. Therefore, the experience that we got out of the tour could go either way and it's entirely subjective. I booked with SunnySicily to visit the baroque towns of Noto, Modica & Ragusa. My allocated guide was Giancarlo and he's very eloquent with the history and of the towns that I visited and he... More

I agree with the many five star reviews SunnySicily has received. Paolo's infectious enthusiasm for and deep knowledge of Sicily made the trip very special. My friends and I fell in love with Sicily, because we were able to see this extraordinary place through Paolo's eyes. We also appreciated his relaxed style and his great sense of humor. I plan... Recommended by a friend, far exceeded expectations. Friendly, extremely knowledgable. On time , actually early. Generally concerned about you as a customer and I think reasonably priced. Well worth it. I would highly recommend !!!

My fiancé and I arrived by cruise ship to Messina (Sicily), Italy where we were promptly met by our driver and guide. We booked a day trip Mt. Etna and Taromina. This day trip turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip thanks largely impart to our driver and extremely knowledgeable guide, Paolo. He treated us as... More

Our recent excursion to the north and southwestern parts of Sicily was our second beyond exceptional experience with our guide Paolo Gallo. In the fall of 2010 he had expertly shared Taormina, Etna, Siracusa with us...with all of his heart and soul I will add! Touring with Paolo you feel that a dear friend accompanies you. His warmth, energy, enthusiasm,... More

Paulo was a fantastic tour guide. My husband came up with the idea of taking a cooking class in Sicily. Paulo arranged everything, picking us up from our cruise in Messina and taking us to a restaurant in Taormina where we learned directly from the chef how to make pasta and other Sicilian dishes such as caponata from scratch. After... More
