These gardens provide a wonderful break from the bustle of the busy Corso Umberto. There are quirky follies to explore, great views of the hillside, bay and Mount Etna in the distance. There is also an interesting war memorial in the gardens. It is a wonderful relaxing location to enjoy the splendorous geography of the region. Take a sandwich and... More

We stayed at Hotel Villa Belvedere which is right next to the gardens and we strolled through them each time we walked into the town and back. Even in November the gardens are beautiful with so much greenery, exotic flowers, quaint buildings, wonderful statuary and views to take your breath away. Every time we walked through we noticed something different.... More

It's very nice to have a walk here in the gardens, lokking at the beautiful view of the Etna and the sea.

The grounds of the garden are beautiful and restful. There is a memorial to those who died in WWI; always makes me think of the lives never lived.

Attractive garden which appears to be a memorial to servicemen who lost their lives in WW11.Not at all depressing but pleasantly and sensitively laid out. Wonderful views from the perimeter of the garden

Very beautiful, shady park. Very nice for an afternoon or evening stroll. Well kept with lots of interest and great views overlooking the sea. We went in late autumn so was looking a little worse for wear after a hot summer.

The views of the town, sea and Mount Etna - especially at sunset - are magnificent. The gardens are full of late 19th century curiosities, from brick bird-feeding pavilions to heather trees.

All the greenery in the gardens but sad about the poor caged parrots who had no branches or toys for enrichment of their cage. It's seems cruel to keep them like this with little stimulation or things to occupy them and their food was just thrown on the ground. Personally I would find them another more suitable home.

I loved this garden with its panoramic view of the ocean, it's shady walks, and the follies encountered at frequent intervals.
