A very pleasant area filled with a diversity of trees and plants. The history of this garden and the lady who created it is also very interesting. There are 'follies' and interesting pathways. It is open to the public and worth a stop. In nice weather, it would be a very pleasant place to spend a few hours relaxing.

If you are spending time in Taormina it is definitely worth it to go for a walk in the these gardens with nice views on mount Etna, the seaside but also for some benches to enjoy moments of peace.

Very, very nice park with some astonishing views too. If you want to get away from the crowded Via Umberto I'd suggest to pay a visit to the Giardini. The weaponry in the middle of the park is a bit of an oddity - but still quite interesting.

This place is amazing. It's a beautiful picturesque garden/park with amazing views of the sea. The best thing is that this place is free, and you can stay here as long as you want.

I really appreciate this garden as we walk at noon when we pass this garden, near illa Diodora hotel. Well, this is "just" garden and not too big, but you will appreciate it especially when walking under the sun and high temperature. Sit next to the "angle" statue or just walk under the shadow of the tree, enough to cool... More

In September 2015 we visited Taormina, a beautiful hilltop town in Sicily. The main streets can be very busy even in this late season, however The Giardini Della Villa Comunale is a peaceful escape from the noise and business of the main streets. Throughout the garden there are seats to just relax. The garden is well maintained and has magnificent... More

Spent a good one and a half hours wandering around these beautiful gardens, filled with beautiful plants and flowers and some very interesting decorative buildings. It almost felt like Alice In Wonderland! The view from here is also fantastic and the other good thing is it was not crowded. A very pleasant experience.

This is a lovely park down the hill from Corso Umberto. Take some time to stroll and relax! You can park yourself on a bench and just look at the sea.

This sweet little park was next to our hotel; and each time I walked through it, I felt like I was in a fairy tale with it's unique buildings, beautiful walkways and beautiful views.
