We wanted to hike some of Mt. Etna and finding this company was a great choice. Eddy speaks almost perfect English and he is a very knowledgeable guide. I most enjoyed how he connected elements of physics, geology, astrology, religion in his explanations and details. It all made perfect sense. I could have done with more hiking, did not realise... They picked us up from Castello di San Marco. Eddy, the guide was very impressive with his knowledge of the area, Etna, geology, physics and he did this in multiple languages. (Italian, English, German at least). If you want to go off the beaten track, get an education, and have a thoroughly interesting day choose this.

We booked a Mount Etna trip last minute with Legendary Sicily and wow it was an amazing day. We were picked up from outside our B&B near the train station in two jeeps. One was driven by Eddy and the other by Francesco. Eddy was the main tour guide. We then began our trip up to Mount Etna. We begun... More

Taormina is a lovely hill town with great food, fun streets, and an unbeatable view, but for something truly unique, take a tour of Mt. Etna with Legendary Sicily. Eddy and Natalie picked up our group of 8 older adults (62-75) at our hotel at 9:00 and returned us at nearly 4:00 for our half day trip. We were driven... More

We took the one day Etna-Alcantara off road tour with Eddy (and Francesco). We throughly enjoyed the day. We were picked up by Francesco at 8.30 and returned a little later than expected at 6.30, Eddy was still educating and guiding us through the towns until the last minute! Very good value at 75€ , were felt. Eddy is a... More

Was great to get up to the top if etna. Cost 60 euro each to get the funicular up then take the truck to the top. Guide not optional. Take the truck! It's a long long way to the top and v steep. If you walk allow a good hour to walk up and make sure you wear covered in... More

If you visit Taormina, do not miss the one-day excursion Etna-Alcantara Off Road! My wife and I booked on last August 25, and love it. Eddy leaded the excursion, with high fluency on Italian and English languages. He picked us up at our hotel about 8:40 in an suv 4wd and took us back to the hotel about 19:00. In... More

Eddie has an astounding knowledge of archeology, history and geology, which he shares with warmth and generosity. This fascinating tour brings the mystery, majesty and miracle of molten lava to a life and he wraps it all up with intriguing, thought provoking references to the worlds of science, maths and religion. If you're reasonably fit, its a manageable hike in... More

What a wonderful experience! Who would have thought that one can get so close to an erupting volcano? We were picked up punctually from our meeting point and comfortably driven to the crater of Mount Etna with guided commenatry on everything we wanted to know in 4 different languages. Eddy is so easy going, well informed and organised- one could... More

Taormina has been renown for its extraordinary natural beauty and micro-climate since Greek times, and poets and writers have extolled its charms over the centuries. As a humble tourist, however, I would like to add that what ultimatly endeared the city to me was the confirmation of the absence of petty crime. Indeed a lost wallet at the Gambero Rosso... More
