Outstanding site off the autostrada (Belvedere) - search for it through Siracusa 'Belvedere'. See it early morning if possible (often open before the publicised 9 - 1900) and the 'dig' teams start early. Free admission to the outstanding military fortification of the ancient greek world must be the greatest value in Sicily. Easy to 'read' the site, though a schematic... more
