So many glorious Serpotta putti there is scarcely wall space left, except for the huge Battle of Lepanto. A beautiful cool white space to escape the heat of the day. If it is shut, try knocking at the Sacristan's door; he may let you in (a donation should be given) - but not after 12.30pm. More

If you go to San Domenice Oratorio Rosario first and ticket covers before you will easily find this diamond of a place. The putti statues are marvels even the Sicilian kids in there were gobsmacked and delighted. The cherubs accompanying the life of Christ are so well done. The touches of gold are an inspiration. The level of detail in the statues and friezes is amazing Fantastic that they have survived this well. Lovely just to sit and admire. More
