This is a truly magnificent painting, it draws the viewer in, you just can't take your eyes off her, she is so beautiful and simply mesmerising. It is housed in the Regional Gallery Palazzo Abatellis, the work is 15th Century by Antonello de Messina. I haven't seen any other of his works, but this surely must be his masterpiece. Not... More

This was one of the best moments during my visit. Absolutely fantastic! Cannot be missed. This is one of the most important paintings of Reneissance Italy. If you like and enjoy art it is a must.
