Villa Trabia is and a historic villa in Palerm built in the eighteenth century by Ignatius Lucchesi Palli, Prince of Campofranco. In 1814 Joseph Lanza Branciforte, Prince of Trabia and Butera bought the villa and garden. The villa includes a small park and seventeenth and eighteenth century buildings. The building of classical style and a large central body consist of two levels and two wings, which enclose a small courtyard in the center of which is the entrance. The villa houses a branch of the town of Palermo public library. Relax and walk around a park that once was the private domain of the landed aristocracy. There is a strange and beautiful atmosphere between decay and ancient stillness inside this park.
