This place is like stepping back in time. We witnessed a wedding in the church, had lunch, enjoyed our short time here.

It's pretty open square with many nice buildings: baroque cathedral, monument with elephant, also connected with the other nice and open - huge difference comparing with ugly, tight and dirty street which we took to arrive here.

This church is a quiet place in a chaotic city. The sanctity inside was a refreshing respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown Catania.
