This is a very nice little museum dedicated to Catanian opera composer Vincenzo Bellini. It has a lot of fascinating excerpts of letters and original full scores of his operas. My biggest quibble is that explanation for most items are only in Italian.

Interesting visit to museum dedicated to Vincenzo Bellini, the opera composer. Shown around by staff. Has the usual opera posters, original manuscripts, letters, &c. The weird one was his displayed coffin, which was dug up years after his death so he could be placed in a more prominent tomb. The museum is almost hidden inside an apartment building.

This isn't a Museum in a strict sense. It looks as if the great musician went out shopping leaving his small house as it was. You'll find the usual things, music scores, various memorabilia, but the real interest is in the house as a whole: if you like to see how people lived 200 yrs ago is a place you... More

A small, unassuming place with only shadows of the great Bellinian past.

This was a very small museum with some exhibits about Bellini, his life and his music. It has a few artifacts, posters and scores spread out through a few rooms. It is a nice diversion but won't take up more than 45 minutes of your time.

My wife has a keen interest in Bellini from her degree in music. Obviously we had to go to the museum. It's a small but intimate museum with very knowedgable staff who are ever keen to help!
