Took the Poetto beach express bus to lovely Poetto beach. Water clear and warm. Beach also clean and sandy. Lovely outlook from beach. Restaurants and bar located on beach or supermarket out on main road if u prefer a picnic.

It is nice to be there even in winter :) Few bars were opened and we enjoyed local meals, coffee and desert after pleasant walk on the beach on Jan 1st and at the air temperature of 18 degrees.

Great place for a walk and a drink in December. From Marina Cagliari you can take the bus PF (every 20 minutes) to Poetto beach (about 15 minutes ride).

The beach is easily accessible by bus from the city center. This time of year the beach is nearly abandoned but several cafes are still open along the waterfront. Wander off the beach in search of food trucks and you will find some amazing fresh seafood.

We came by bus from town # pq. Very nice to walk the pedestrian path and stop for coffee or beer. Where we stopped was a ww2 Italian army defense bunker. Sinking in the sand Nice beach.

Even in November, this beach had a few people on it, swimming and sunbathing. 18 degrees and unexpectantly sunny - a glorious day.. It must be really busy during the summer. An 8 km long stretch of sandy shore, clear water and beautiful surroundings. In fairness, there are also clumps of some kind of vegetation strewn across the beach. At... More

We went during October, so here were not many people but I think that during the summer season this beach is very noisy and crowdy because it is the main city beach.Great views and soft sand. There are public spaces and private areas and lots of space to choose from.Lots of nice places to get food and beverages in the area.
