This monument is not in the celebrated district of Castello. However, it is worth a visit: nice church, interesting museum, good souvenir shop. You can walk from the port - it's very easy and not far away, or take Linea 5, Linea 31 or Linea 30. Linea 5 takes you in front of the church. If you ride Linea 30... More

Imposing building, lovely steps leading up to a grand building. There are lovely views over Cagliari.

About 1 km southeast of Via Roma, this is easily acessible by walking from the centre of town, or taking the no. 5 bus. Absolutely worth a visit. The views from here are worthy of a photo or two.

Just outside of the main part of town but still in easy walking distance. Lovely church architecture both inside and out.

Take the number 5 bus from via Roma to the Basilica di Bonaria in around 10 minutes. We were disappointed that the main sanctuary was closed when we visited, but worth seeing nonetheless.
