We were in Cagliari from 20.-23.4. and during this weekend the tower was closed every time hen we came. So we didnt climb on and were bit dissapointed but anywayy we saw it from the ground...

I did not because I was there on a Monday and it was closed, it is also closed on most Italian holidays. As far as I know there is no charge, so go up this one they charge for the Tower of St Pancrazio. Afterwards you can head down to the Piazza Yenne for refreshment.
