My favorite monuments, great view from the top, you can admire a big part of the city, and on Sunday there was a good second hand market

An impresive fortress, overlooking Cagliari, located just in the heart of the city. The view is spectacular, the construction is impressive - let hope that the maintenance work on the top will be finished soon, as the ensamble looks, somehow, deserted, invaded by wild vegetation, thus - dissapointing. Despite of this, what you see from the top is fantastic -... More

Close to the city centre, nice place especially in summertime when it's very busy, crowded. You'll find many pubs or restaurants in the city centre. Very nice sightseeing on all the city. Big place where to stay for a walk. You have to walk up the city centre quite steep roads to get it but it deserves. Recommended👍👍

A huge fortress standing in the heart of the City. The views from the top are spectacular and you can see most of the places. It is currently under going renovation and there are barriers put up in front of the fortress.

When in Cagliari, you must visit this place! Great place to take nice pictures, highly recommended! It is pretty much in the center of Cagliari, you cannot miss it. It is simply a place you must have seen, if you are interested in history or not does not matter, just the scenery is amazing. Take a walk to it, you... More

Quite a building and tribute to the city. Just austere. It seems to be part of the new but it is also quite a part of the old. Unfortunately as of October 2015 it is closed to the public for renovation.

Impressive! Built almost a century ago, this gorgeous, tower-like bastion was constructed to help the passengers "climb" up to the centro storico. The Piazza in front of St. Remy is lovely with Antico Cagliari historical Cafe (one of my favorite places) and impressive view on the bastion and the descending Via Regina Margherita with wonderful "good standing" chic buildings. The... More

The Bastione is very nice from below, and from the top you have a very nice view over Cagliari and over the harbour. Unfortunately, however, it is closed for restoration work, so you cannot walk on the beautiful stairs, neither enjoy the terrasse. Still, on the top near the elevator you will manage to enjoy the view

We pass this commemorate on the way to "the top" center of Cagliari. It is a nice view, but even better is a few meters higher.

One of the best sites to go for a stroll while enjoying one of the city's best views. A elevator will take you there from the bottom if you don't fancy steps too much.
