In the very heart of Alghero Old Town is this traditional museum with plenty of paintings and many silvery or wooden ecclesiastical artefacts. Definitely worth a visit with good opening hours in the evening. My visit took 40 minutes and taking pictures was OK without flash light.

We passed the museum one day when it was closed and thought it looked intriguing. It was a peaceful place with lots of art and relics. It was worth a brief visit and was very reasonably priced.

This museum hosts silvers and paintings. There are descriptions in different languages and the guides are helpful. There is an activity leaflet for the children, unfortunately it is only in Italian. There is an entrance fee, it was around 5-10 euros.

Interesting collection of church silver and artifacts inside a disused church building. Helpful guides given in several languages

The exhibition contained paintings from Ethiopia, mostly religious motivs. The Staf were very eager to tell the stories about the paintings.

When we visited this museum, there was a special expo of Ethiopian Christian art! A part from that, the museum itself is quite interesting.
