Best beach near Alghero!

Clear water, clean and nice beach near Alghero! You can walk from Alghero center in about 20 minutes, take the local bus or maybe rent a bike!

Our landlady told us about Maria Pia "just past the hospital". All I can say is the patients have a lovely view! It's an easy bike ride along the bike path and then through a lovely pine forest along a boardwalk to the beach. There is a Lido however most of the beach is public. The sand is white and... More

This is a lovely expanse of beach just adjacent to Alghero town. It is reached through a small pine forest which has numerous pathways from the main road.Umbrellas and sunbeds are available as are a few snack bar and restaurants. I was there for a week in early June and it was a really relaxing and totally enjoyable experience. I... More

Very good for swimming, safe and clear clean water. Waves not too big. Restaurants around for refreshments. Parking easy and within walking distance from the centre of Alghero.

Really nice beach, café, and toilets. The views were amazing and so relaxing and peaceful. The whole place was so well looked after.

Lovely walk down to the beach through pine woods. Need a car really, free parking, though the local buses do stop there. Sun beds, umbrellas for hire at reasonable prices. Pretty fine sand beach and lovely safe bathing.

Great beach close to Alghero, get the bus or drive, its 100% better than the Lido beach in Alghero. The Lido one has a nasty big ugly old concrete structure that is just horrible. Lido also smells of rotton eggs

There is white sandy beach surounded by pine forrest and clear water, where you can see the fishes. And is so close to the town. We were there in October and weather was worm and sunny and water was also warm.

Clear waters, white sand and not too crowded with a couple of beach bars - our favorite beach and only a short walk from Alghero

This is one of the best beaches I've ever visited. Miles of white sandy beach, a gently sloping sea makes for a great and safe family beach location. Lots of snack bars and umbrellas along the beach mean you can literally stay all day. Heaven!
