Nice white sand beach next to the "city beach" - it's worth to take a bus or go by foot rather than staying in the "city beach".

Lovely beach. Beautiful clear water, far from town but worth the walk. There was an awful lot of people trying to sell things which is to be expected but gets kind of annoying after a while.

Some people tend to say that this beach should be skipped for other beaches nearby, but WOW, to have such a beautiful, long, clean, well organized beach right in the city within minutes of your hotel and restaurants and all sorts of attractions, well, you can't beat the convenience!!! I rarely see such great beaches in so central a location.... More

The main tourist beach in Algehro. You can swim, and rent sunbeds. But thats pretty much it. It is much better to take the Beach Bus to one of the other beaches close by.

This is a beach closer to Alghero, can be reached on foot also and by public transport. It is not so crowded, but clear water and whiteish beach.

Although it is always busy in August, one you find a spot on the beach, just relax and listen to the buzz and the waves and the views of Alghero town are not bad either and it will make the UK overcast skies melt away........

nice clear water beach and plenty of sand. This beach is closest to Alghero which has a beach as well but Maria Pia wins our vote. There are no small rocks to trouble you under foot in the water and it has a very gentle slope into the water.

Your're not alone on this beach, and my personal space-sone to strangers totally changed after a couple of days. Nevertheless we liked this beach a lot, the water and sand is really nice. The sellers are not very pushy, and I'm sure we'll miss the coco seller with his funny songs. This is not the quiet, romantic beach from your... More
