Stunning scenery

Beautiful views, beach a little crowed with the people form the local campsite, and it was Sunday. Lovely hill top walks

Access to the beach is pretty bad. Actually you need to park your car on top of the cliffs, pass through a camping site which looks pretty tired and then continue down to the beach over poorly maintained steps. From the top of the cliffs the beach looks very cool, it is not crowded and it looks quite natural, however... More

Came across this beach by chance. What a lovely bay and beach and the veiws were beautiful, very relaxing thankfully not busy as we visited in May. Good for swimming and snorkelling, the path leading down to the beach was quite steep and not very suitable for anyone who has difficulty walking. Well worth visiting

Small version of Porto Ferro. A bit more difficult to get down from the car park, but we managed with small kids. A lot of stones in the water, but fine for swimming once you get going.

Here, like in Porto Ferro, there is an old watch tower and from the parking area you have the opportunity to walk on several paths admiring the nature, the sea view and reach also the beautiful Cala Viola. A nice place not just for sunbathing and swimming but also for discovering beautiful places.

The climb up to the tower is well worth it. We didn't swim in the sea there because it was full of seaweed.

It is great to visit the many towers around the old town of Alghero and some of them are open (one as a bookstore/information desk and another hosts shows of some sort.) The towers themselves are good landmarks also just in case you can't remember where you are just keep in mind where the towers are and you wont go... More

It's quite difficult to descend to this beach because it doesn't exist a normal way. It has a nice cliff to walk in... But I strongly recommend to go there. A nice view surrounded by weathered granite walls.

We went here early evening and watched a sunset across the cove. Fantastic views on the ridges over the coastline and a very rugged feel. Early evening was quiet and the sea was still warm for a swim. The cove was choppy when we went but still swimmable.
