The beach is quite near to Alghero and it allows you to escape the fuss in the city. I believe there is a good bus connection, but we took the car since in June the parking is for free.

Fine, white sand all the way. Not the hottest water, but you'll have a nice swim! The best part is in front of the Hotel Dei Pini, their privat beach.

What a great spot for a family swim !! Have a rest, knowing that the kids are pretty safe frolicking in the shallow crystal clear waters , that extend along a good 750 metres and does not deepen until about 50 metres from shore. Get there early for free parking, otherwise pay a Euro an hour. The turnoff from the... More

We went slightly further than most of the restaurants and umbrellas and we had a nice time with few people on the beach.

Clearly a favourite with the locals from Alghero as it is 10 mins drive from the town. The next beach Lazzareto is quieter with lovely sandy stretches and blue sea.

Really nice beach, quiet and impressive when you arrive, the only downside would be that it is a bit far away if you do not have a car at your disposal and taking the bus would prove to be quite challenging if you do not know the language or exactly where you need to get to.

This is an ideal place to visit to experience a real Italian beach, with locals bringing their parasols and cool bags to cope with a hard days sunbathing. Again their is the usual bar but just pitch up and claim your spot in this pretty cove.

A very nice beach which is in easy reach of Alghero. There is a hotel at one end and a couple of places to eat and hire beds and umbrellas. There is also a small water sports centre in the middle of the beach. There is a bus service and quite a large (pay) car park very near to the... More
