The 646 steps are more impressive than the cave itself

An ordinary cave - the outside panorama view and stepclimbing something nevertheless moore fantastic!

Magnificent view on the way to grotto. You can reach Grotto by sea or by car (and after that 350 steps by foot) Inside you can see very beautiful stalactites and stalagmites

We decided to visit Neptunes Grotto and thought it would be nice to go by boat we weren't disappointed. The boat trip was lovely and the views of the coastline were amazing. And the information about different landmarks was very informative and interesting. Worth doing but be aware that you have to pay to go in the Grotto

Liked almost everything. The wonderful coastline, the amazing caves, the boat. But the trip nearly did not happen, as at first, despite my having bought a ticket and the time for departure being given as four pm, I was told there were not enough people for a trip. Bad organisation. Luckily more turned up but , if you advertise a... More

We done the Day Trip which included swimming, the caves, the beach and lunch. Everything about this was amazing I Loved parking up and going swimming in the sea. The caves are beautiful I've visited a few in Ireland so it was a change to see a cave which has a different climate so big difference in stalagmites etc... Definitely... More

Don't, just don't... 16 euro/pers for a half an hour boat ride, some explanations along the way but couldn't understand a word of it due to poor sound quality. Once arrived at the caves, another 13 euro/pers is charged for the entrance of what must be the shortest cave I have ever visited. Hundreds of tourists packed into the tiny... More

My husband & I had read on TA that the caves are more beautiful to be seen from the water. Since other companies were closed the day we wanted to go (yes, that should have been a sign), we chose to go through Navisarda. The water was so choppy that it took the staff about 5 minutes to dock at... More

From the perspective of a traveller on a ferry, few things can be worse than being stranded at a remote location, without the company showing any concern or sympathy. But this is what happened to us - and in fact, we were not alone! The company Navisarda provided a mis-leading ferry schedule, and didn't make any needed announcements when passengers... More

We bought a return trip on the Navisarda ferry to Grotte di Nettuno in May 2014. As explained by the sales clerk and the brochure provided, we understood that the ferry would depart from Grotte di Nettuno at 17:30. We were at the ferry pick-up point around 17:10 but was informed by the cave's ticket office that the last ferry... More

We have made a trip to Grotta di Nettuno by Navisarda company on July 2013. When we left the deck, I asked the staff, what time is the boat going back to Alghero? The sailor told me wrong time of departure. The boat has gone without us. It happend at the noon. No more boat came next tree hours there.... More
