This is a nice stroll from the commercial center to the citta vecchia and around it. There are nice views of the Adriatic, the new town and some fishermen boats moored there. On the other side of the cite vecchia the views of the commercial harbor. The negative side of it is that this beautiful stretch has not been valorized:... More

Very hot when we visited and not much shade but couldn't resist venturing from the hotel to take walks along here with a gelato in hand!

Each morning you can watch the fishermen heading out to sea (not far and still in sight) and then returning to this area. We wondered what they were catching and it turned out to be mostly octopus and sea urchin although there were some fish there as well. It is always good to get up early and see what is... More

This is one of the nicest parts of the city and follows the sea walls into the historic old town of Bari. On a sunny day I cant think of anything nicer than walking along the sea front, watching the cyclists and roller skaters move in and out of the visiting tourists and walking past the fish stalls where the... Bari was excellent, beautiful seaside, not too many tourists and a quite town. The best restaurant was La Cecchina, amazing food and great service.
