Although I'm not religious, I have become obsessed with the churches in Italy. The inside of the church was very beautiful. Amazing art and the architectural details were stunning. It was free to enter so there's no reason to not visit this duomo on your trip through Verona. The day I was there was a little crazy with a lot... More

large and well lit - nice to wander freely - interesting area where you can see the older foundations showing it was built on an earlier church

The Historical Church guide is well written andoints out all the important features. The Duomo has a beautiful modern alter and seating that blends with the Romanesque design. Do visit the Baptistry and. St. Elena ruins. Toilet located near Baptistry.

I didn't get to spend much time in this church and part of the exterior is under renovation, but it was a quiet respite from a day of sightseeing. Lovely artwork in the side chapels. Way up in the front, to the left of the altar is a nondescript sign pointing the way to another chapel. Follow that door to... More

Everything you would expect from an Italian cathedral. In the positive sense. Come early at sun rise to shoot the better outside detail pictures

The setting is nice because it is along the river. It was damp and chilly inside but that is to be expected in the ancient cathedrals especially when only a few people are in the space.

A beautiful building. Well worth a visit. Good audioguide available. Nice to get out of the heat and go back in time for a couple of hours.

The Verona's Cathedral or the Cathedral most common, is the most beautiful church in the city of architecture superfine. The facade in general and the outside are of a disarming beauty, to ruin all this splendor and magic this however is the bad example of management of the church, to visit it inwardly is required to pay a small fee,...
