Our visit to the Carlo Scarpa sites of Verona with Valeria was very enjoyable – a major part of our trip to northern Italy was to visit as many Scarpa sites as we could, and Valeria had access to Verona’s Banco Populaire, for which, as non-Italian speakers, we were grateful for the access. Valeria was very knowledgeable about Scarpa, and... More

It's been a nice experience for me as well: every time I discover something new, thanks to Scarpa's love for hidden details and thanks to "my" travelers' eyes, that help me open mine! Take care, Valeria More

We went to Verona on a day trip from Venice, and used Valeria with A Guide in Verona. She was fabulous! We like history, and she expertly showed us the major sites, and some hidden ones we would not have seen otherwise as well. She customized our tour to hit all the things we wanted. And, showed us the best... More

My wife and I got in touch with Lorella before travelling to Italy and asked that she take us on an abbreviated 2 hour tour of the city. We were delighted that we did, as she proved to be a very personable and knowledgeable guide, and the time just raced by. At the end, we felt we had chosen wisely,... More

My wife and I decided to arrange for a private guided tour of beautiful Verona. Lorella provided the perfect tour which required rearrangement due to weather and our limited time schedule. The perfect introduction to a wonderful city. Certainly well worth the price.

We wanted to visit Verona with a guide to learn about the history of the place. My husband has walking disability so we find such activities difficult. Lorella was extremely helpful and organized for us a wheelchair and choose a route that is easy and accessible. We had a great time, learned a lot about this place and felt well... More

We arrived in Verona, planning to do a self-guided tour but realised we would get so much more out of learning from a local guide. Lorella was amazing! She has been a tour guide for 26 years and her experience is telling! She captivated us with stories of the history and culture of beautiful Verona, providing us with so much... More

On a recent trip to Verona I had emailed Verona tours and inquired if it was possible to have a tour of the city the following day. Lorella responded immediately and we booked the tour for 2:00 pm the following afternoon. The four of us (2 couples) spent the next 2+ hours following Lorella around town and learning as much... We had a perfect tour around the city, and everything was perfectly followed up by Lorella. Information and history was well prepared and balanced. I will highly recommend Lorella again.

We are a small tour operator from the UK who run Opera Tours to Lucca and Verona. The level of customer service provided by Lorella and Valeria on our historical Verona tours has been outstanding. Both are lovely, engaging people with a keen attitude and excellent English. We intend to use their services once again in 2015, and beyond. Tour... More

Wonderful place - charming sun light, warm climate and ancient romantic atmosphere. Amazing small streets which leads you to surprising spots in the town, like nice markets, magnificent gardens and secret tracks of love left on the town signs, buildings and shops, all together with the sparkling river. An ancient scary castle and a lot of pigeons, bridges and hidden... More
