It's no wonder that this is one of the most historic and picturesque squares in Italy: in antiquity, it served as a Roman forum; today, it contains many historic buildings, sculptures with a popular and colorful market overflowing with fresh fruits and vegetables.

It's located right in the centre so you can use this as a starting point to visit everything. All other famous attractions are in walking distance.

Very lively place, even in the rain, market style stalls, loads of people and restaurants. Very close to sights of the city and definitely a place not to miss. In fact I think I just walked into it without knowing.

Plenty to see and do and plenty of places to sit and watch the world go by/people watch. Would be wrong to go to Verona and not visit here!

We went when the Christmas lights were up, absolutely stunning at night. Lots of good restaurants around, we thought they would be tourist traps but were pleasantly surprised at the quality and decent price of the food!

It was a warm and sunny afternoon when we visited this beautiful place. We haven't eaten there because the prices are a bith high in the cafes and restaurants.

Piazza delle Erbe is the liveliest and most beautiful spot in the centro storico of Verona, especially during the holiday season when it is nicely decorated and the shops are bustling.

Plenty of choice for the discerning visitor and scrubs up well at night when the stalls have gone. Conveniently located on the main walking routes around the historic parts of Verona.

There´s no comment to add but just to look at the photograph. It is a nice experience to see how "street shops" are organized since at night they are automatically closed lettin the tourist to appreciate the beauty of the Piazza.

Verona! The entire city of Verona is lovely! What a wonderful place to spend a day or a week or a month! I would love to spend a lifetime in Verona, Venezia, and Padua. Just go and wander around and enjoy. Lovely and safe.
