Beautiful fountain and frescoes

Many bars and restaurants around this historic piazza - many buildings with old frescoes. Market selling typical touristy stuff plus local produce.

We liked the atmosphere of this lively square, with its attractive buldings and lots of shops and cafes. I found the people in the chemist's and the optician's friendly and helpful. They spoke some English.

The building around the piazza are well worth seeing, with their painted facades. During the week there is an extensive market, selling touristy stuff and some food: the cups full of fresh fruit are impressive. There are several restaurants, whose prices are not outrageous.

Lovely Piazza especially when the market is on and all the stalls are brimming with fresh produce. The building around the square are very old and are very ornate in many ways. The fountain is very good. Another visit later to sample a Campari in one of the nice restaurants/bars

This place attracts many people, so busy. The market is great for trinkets, souvenirs etc. The market has fruit sellers, delicious fruit at 3 euro . There are sellers for sandwiches, pizza, and cool drinks. The square is beautiful, a must see! We had a late meal at the bars after the opera, very good.

This is an old square in the old city center of Verona. Lots of places to sit outside and have a drink or dinner. Plus walking around, or to Piazza Bra for example, you run into all those nice little stores as Italy often offers those. Arrive here around 8 and go from there, should be good!
