The best time to visit the Piazza Erbe is late afternoon. The preferred aperatif is Aperol Spritz and hundreds of people just sit in the cafes and enjoy the passiagatta. If you are in the mood you can go on to dinner or just walk along the banks of the Adige. Piazza Erbe is a place to relax, enjoy the... More

Not as active as piazza bra but more elegant buildings. And watching the vendors pack up their wares in the custom-made stands was intriguing.

The ambience is good from morning until the night. During the day there's more tourist traffic but in the evening you can chill out in a relaxing atmosphere and while away the evening by having Aperitivo.

We enjoyed eating and shopping in this Piazza...and there is a bank right there, as well. We were able to get several gifts there for reasonable amount if money.

Sit in a cafe and watch the people! We saw at least 3 newly wed couples and friends arrive for photo taking. Surrounding buildings are quite interesting as well.

This piazza offers many average restaurants and many street vendors. Compared to street vendors in other cities( Rome, Florence, and Venice) they have the exact same items only at higher prices. Nice to see but not to buy

Every Monday-Saturday the centre of piazza revert is filled with what look like permanent market stalls. They close at night, with the roof closing over the stall and the umbrella folding on top of the whole thing. Imagine my surprise walking through the piazza on a Sunday morning to discover that the enormous central space was completely empty - as... More

Although there are lots of tourists, yes we were too. Move on from that and enjoy the location. So many people to watch and so much history to absorb.

Loved the busy bustle during the summer. This really is the social centre of the city - locals sitting over drinks, eating, chatting. Much busier than the piazza of the same name in Padua. A great spot.

This is a place to seat and have an espresso or capuccino and brioche. Usually you will find the MERCATINO and you could buy some fruits and vegetables and other curiosities. Art galleries, historic stores, restaurants, 900 years old houses.
