I walked through here at night with my two colleagues and what a beautiful square! Architecturally stunning; with two clock towers, the colours are beautiful and I understand the market during the day is excellent. Well worth a visit, day or night with restaurants, cafes & "gelatti"all around. Plus shopping off all sides...it's a perfect Italian experience.

Very joyful and colourful market plaza. Perfect place just to sit down for a while, relax, grab some drinks and enjoy in tastes, watch all the commotion and great buildings everywhere around the plaza.

As most italian piazzas, this one is beautifully built . Add to that the special christmas time atmosphere, the many "bancarelle" with their colorful display and you get one big festival!

Having been to Venice, I was not expecting Verona to come close. I was wrong. Although the many water ways are absent, it has that same picturesque charm, side streets with unexpected interest and dozens of top notch places to eat to choose from. I could happily have stayed there longer. The streets in the evenings are choc full of... More

As well as the fantastic historic visuals and flea markets situated in this square, the large range of options for eating and drinking mean this is a must see. The murals on the walls of the buildings are extremely old and have an interesting history. If you need to use a convenience whilst sightseeing, just buy a Pellegrino mineral water... More

the Piazza delle Erbe is the central point of the city to have a drink, on a very pleasant place, facing the market. In summer or winter, it is very pleasant and it is obviously where the locals gather rather than in front of the Arena. The Piazza is also surrounded by historic buildings which makes it a charming place.

Piazza delle Erbe offers you a great market experience and you might like to sit down and watch the crowd going by. If you want to have some piece and more attention in restaurants, check the side streets and squares.
