It's no wonder that this is one of the most historic and picturesque squares in Italy: in antiquity, it served as a Roman forum; today, it contains many historic buildings, sculptures with a popular and colorful market overflowing with fresh fruits and vegetables.

A pretty piazza less busy than the P. Bra

A pretty piazza with some beautiful architecture, worth a photo stop advice eat slightly back from here due to cost and if you like quality food why pay more for less

This piazza was great. There are lot of places to get good food and drinks and also wonderful shopping streets close by. A must visit when you travel to Verona!

Easily reachable by walk from the arena and a good place to hangout in the evening for Aperitivo and spritz! Take a stroll around via mazzini the shopping street and rome juliets house is nearby..just a 2 min walk from the sqaure.

It is amazing to see the difference between Piazza delle Erbe in the daytime vs. the nighttime. We found ourselves wandering through the square as well as the streets around it over and over. Make sure to look all around you, there are towers, frescoes, and interesting sights around every corner.

Busy and filled with tourists but a must see. The fruit sold in stands is cheap and tasty on a hot day.

Beautiful buildings, special atmosphere. Nice place to relax with a drink after a day of touring Verona.

The piazza is very popular also for local people to visit. Not too crowded and just in the heart of the old city. I recommend to visit as the place is very alive and a nice place to have lunch etc.

Really the centre of Verona with a variable street market but look carefully and you can find some good things.

A bit disappointing; nothing particular in terms of beauty particularly compared to many other piazzas in Verona. A sort of market takes most of the space selling low quality souvenirs. Could not really get a feel to this piazza.
