Absolutely magical place. No need to set up your camera shot, every turn is a photo shoot. Breathtakingly beautiful. The water is turquoise just like the Canaletto paintings. It wasn't as expensive as I'd expected. Wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking to do. Take a water taxi from the airport, and sail down the a Grand... More

We were looking for a quick bit and found this place on trip advisor. There isn't a whole lot of space to eat in...but we got there early before the dinner rush. Ordered a normale sized pizza for ?5, it came out hot and quick. As good as you can get at some of the more expensive places.

Venice is a city located in northeast Italy sited in a group of small islands separeted by canals and linked by bridges. We went there in summertime and it was extremely hot but we enjoy the visit a lot! We stayed in the continent (Mestre) which was a wise decision because the island is very crowded and you have to... When we were in Venice this time, we experienced the high tide and knee-high flooding throughout the city. It was quite an experience, but would have been sad for anyone who'd never been there before. We were also there for a week in 2007, and the sun shone. It really is the most amazing place in the world, and there... More

We spent 2 weeks in Venice in a 2up 2down house. We wanted to live like the locals... the house was in the Canneregio which was mostly residential. After 7 days we had seen it all and loved it...but from then on we loved it less. The food was always the same...prepared rolls with filling from the cafe...the trattoria and... More
