We went on the tour on Saturday 22/11 with Lorea (Gloria? sorry not sure about the name). It was a great introduction to Venice and allowed us to explore it further after we finished. I would like to thank our guide for showing me how to cross the grand canal for €2 so that I could catch a train at... More

This tour is not a straightforward introduction to Venice, but it is fast paced, informative and gives a great insight into some of the less well documented history of the city. Thank you for a great tour. Francesco showed us a very interesting side of Venice and gave great information. We had lots of fun too.

The tour lasted about 3h and it was quite complete. The guide gave many tips like free museums to visit, advises on restaurant & bar and churches you need to see. Do not hesitate to do it because as any tips based guided tour, you decide at the end how much you want to give.

This was the best tour ever! Our tour guide (can't remember her name) was charming, unbelievably informative and fun. We had about 15 in our group, walked our feet off, and learned more about Venice in 2 1/2 hours than I could ever imagine. We've done free walking tours in other cities, and this was by far the best. It... More

After reading the very mixed reviews decided to take a risk and give this tour a go anyways. Myself and my husband were spending our first wedding anniversary in Venice and felt like we wanted to know a bit more about the city rather than wandering aimlessly. Our tour guide was called Jaquie (I think!) and we cannot recommend her... More

I have taken MANY free walking tours all over Europe, and unfortunately this was the worst. Maybe it was the rain, or the guide, or the city, or the company, or a combination of these reasons, but this tour was different than other walking tours that I have had. The main issue was the script used, which was too noticeably... More

This is a great way to begin your visit to Venice, whether you are there for a day or a week. The information given is a mix of history and practical tourist tips. My husband and I were the only seniors in this tour group-a mix of travelers from many countries, which added to the fun. The tour lasted about... More

For someone having gone on similar walking tours in different parts of Europe, I am of the opinion that this has been the most effective and useful tour so far. Very interesting, relevant and comprehensive.

I recommend to take the tour in the beginning of your trip to Venice. All information will be very handy, specially when you get lost in the island.
