Life is a journey, travelling is living twice.” – Omar Khayyam – (Persian poet of XII century)I am a tour leader. I visited many countries… not to find myself, tot o learn how to live. And from you, and all of those I met during my journeys I learned something. This is the reason why I love my job. For me it represents an opportunity to meet men and women from different places and with different cultures.

Our tour started with a small history account of Venice, told in such a captivating way that even our 9-year old son was immediately fascinated. It was extremely busy due to Carnival that weekend in Venice but Nadia knew just which streets to take to escape the crowds and see things off the beaten path. With her help we were... More

Nadia showed us how a native of Venice lives -- we were able to walk off the beaten path with her without getting lost. We learned about every day life as well as the history of Venice. Her explanations were clear and informative. And most importantly, she was a lot of fun! Highly recommend a tour with this amazing woman.

We booked this tour for 5 adults - one being my Dad at 76 years. We were contacted by Vilma and she was efficient and obliging when organising the time. We booked a 2 hour walking and 1 hour boat trip with her. Her knowledge of Venice was a great asset to us. she really showed us a view of... More

Giorgia met us at our hotel about 10 minutes early and she instantly focused upon us and how she could best show us her city. She speaks 4 languages, perfect English, has graduate degrees and is a bundle of energy and knowledge. Since it was our last of 4 days, we wanted to focus more upon the 'real Venice' and... More

We booked Nadia for a three hours walking tour of Venice on 7th April. There were seven of us, our 13 year old godson with his Mum and 11 year old sister, and my husband and our two older teenage daughters. First of all, I have to say Nadia is a very warm and welcoming person! As soon as we... More

We mat Nadia at Zattere boat stop and we agreed that we did not wish to see the well known sites but we wanted to see the real Venice. We walked down quiet paths, we saw a gondala maker and we were shown some of the history of the area. Nadia treated us to a coffee and pastry in wonderful... More

We booked a 3 hour tour in Venice with Giorgia before leaving home and reading all the great reviews on trip advisor... we had high expectations. Georgia arrived early and greeted us warmly. She reviewed what we had decided to cover on the tour and she then went about sharing her knowledge, insights and first hand experiences as a venetian.... More

The highlight of our visit to Venice was our tours with Nadia. My husband and I specifically booked our transatlantic cruise because it disembarked in Venice – a city I had long yearned to see. It was our very good fortune to have booked Nadia well in advance of our arrival, and “mama mia!” what a tremendously talented guide she... More

I booked a tour for myself and my mum with Nadia as I had read reviews about her on Tripadvisor. Unfortunately, just a week before our tour date we were informed that Nadia was unavailable so we grudgingly accepted a tour with Giorgia instead. In fact, Giorgia was really great! She contacted us beforehand by email which was a nice... More

My fiance and I were in Venice for 3 days and decided we wanted to do something a little different and book a tour. The main tourist attractions were so busy that we wanted to avoid these and rather see Venice from a local's perspective. After reading "Friend in Venice" reviews - I booked the 3 hour tour including the... More
