Marika is one of those rare, very unique, talented chefs who brings in all her passion for food and cooking in the most briliant combination with the desire to share her knowledge with her guests. Even the online booking with her and her teams feels very easy and you're instantly hooked. The 'Villa Ines' mesmerizes you the second you enter... More

We took a four hour cooking class with Marika on Lido, just a short water bus ride from Piazza San Marco. It was the highlight of our five day trip to Venice. The menu she had prepared (spring vegetable risotto, vegetable tempura, pasta Bolognese, tiramisu) was perfect. We made pasta from scratch, prepared the Bolognese sauce, learned about preparing vegetables... More

We took this cooking class with Marika in March 2012 during a vacation for my mom, my daughter (age 19) and me. It was definitely a highlight of our trip! Marika was warm, friendly, ultra-talented and the perfect teacher for students of all levels. The course was held in her gorgeous Villa on the island of Lido (just a few... More

My teenage daughters and I spent the day learning recipes and cooking secrets from Marika. She is a highly skilled and accomplished chef. Her class was very informative and covered everything from how to prepare vegetables for notable Italian dishes (e.g. there are certain parts of celery that should be discarded when preparing a mirepoix for the Bolognese sauce) to... Fabulous class in her beautiful Lido B and B and home. I often use the recipes and techniques learned. A great way to see the Lido, meet some locals, and experience a different culture! More

LOVED every moment of this class. After taking a very satisfying cooking class in Florence just days before we were a little bit skeptical as if we will be happy with Acquolina... but.. the moment we stepped into Marika and Stephano's kitchen I already had fallen in love.. Marika and Stephano were very warm and welcoming but also very professional... More

In August 2011, my daughter and I spent 6 days at Villa Innes and for her 21st birthday and had a wonderful time. We had three private cooking classes with Marika. She is a very energetic and knowledgable chef. Her kitchen and lessons were inspiring. I especially enjoyed her classes as I consider myself to be a well versed cook,... More
